For a club that always gives it the large one about attendances, they clearly appear to be struggling selling out tickets for a match that awards a trip to Wembley for the winner. The first time ever in Aldershot's case.

A bit harsh on some our fans that i am sure would have purchased tickets in the home end to see this game!

Struggling to sell out lol, there’s a fortnight to go yet and don’t worry it will be sold out.

As for your fans in the home end, it’s taking a wee bit of risk in my opinion
I prefer to sit these days,if there are any that are sitting near me then they won’t be there for long as I don’t want any near me during the game.
It’s unfortunate but that’s the way it is.
Should be a cracking atmosphere and we are hitting some form at the right time, but that will mean sweet FA on the day .

With about 200 tickets left for a game with 2 weeks still to go i doubt we will not sell out. What's harsh on woking fans ? Nothing stopping you buying tickets for the home areas left is their

Red and Blue 1, Hampshire92 you have both completely missed the point. We were initially given just over 1k tickets which sold out to season ticket holders only after one day. Non season tickets were not even given the opportunity to get a ticket. Therefore I am sure a good number would have brought tickets in the home end as it was the only option available to watch this match at the time. ATFC clearly over estimated their own uptake so then gave us another 370 tickets to help sell it out which I believe have been snapped up.

Ashcard, far be it from me to stick up for the noisy neighbours but I think you're on the wrong track here somewhat....

My reading is that the 350/370 tickets that we've been afforded this week are due to a reassment of the capacity in the dedicated away section of the East Bank and space on the side. That space would NEVER have been in scope for being given to home fans so has nothing to do with ATFC not taking up their tickets on offer.

Let's be totally honest here, Aldershot probably have the bigger capability to sell tickets to their home fans than would have been the case had the fixture been reversed. I'm pretty sure that all our previous home Trophy semi finals have never sold out, probably not even come within 80% of the capacity.

This match will sell out on both sides of the segragation - and well ahead of the match itself. Let's just enjoy that there is the interest in football at this level. And pray that we can get our sh*t together on the pitch in the next two weeks - I've been there and seen us get hammered and it's not fun. Add in the heightened prize for a win and this is not likley to be an enjoyable afternoon if we're still fielding a patched up team

The extra tickets you recieved was due to a meeting with health and safety and capacity being increased nothing to do with us selling our tickets.

The willy waving about tickets is a bit odd. Both teams have done extremely well. 6-7000 at an fa trophy semi-final. When was the last time that happened?

I'll be nervous as hell, but I can't wait!

Well I am terrified...the day will be great, the 4 of us are gonna be having an early breakfast in aldershot somewhere, walk up and watch some fireworks no doubt, its gonna be a right bear pit, in a ground I think has lots of charisma and atmosphere, I actually love the ground, 1950's re visited, a great throwback to nicer times. Dread losing though and running the gaunlet up that exit ramp stairway

I only deal in the facts, below is the reason you have an extra 370 tickets and it’s pretty obvious they would be snapped up and so they should have been.

Following a further meeting with our local Safety Advisory Group, 350 extra tickets have been made available to Woking supporters and will be sold by Woking.
The away areas were the only place with extra capacity available and these extra tickets would not have been available in the home areas.
The initial capacity was allocated upon recommendation of the local Safety Advisory Group and has been allowed to increase upon their recommendation.

With regards to your lot in the home end, it’s a potential risk so hopefully they will screw the nut and behave otherwise it will cause issues.

Yes I know we have our share of melts as well, all I’m saying is that if they’re are any near me and they make it blatantly obvious then they won’t be in there for long.

Should be a cracking atmosphere.

Quite embarrassing for Aldershot to have to sell more tickets to away fans. Are they skint again?

Don’t suppose the assessment to increase the away capacity included a better exit route and organising the loos so it’s not a scrum ?

I dont see what's embarrassing about making the effort to get as many fans in as possible. I'm sure the 350 Woking fans are grateful for the opportunity.

Keep going the way you are and you won't need to worry about ticket allocation for next season.
