Has now got an agent. Music to Dowse’s ears I’m sure... or looking for another club.

Same agent as Kretzschmar has had since last summer, so must be respected by Dowse or he wouldn’t have resigned Max

Not sure what this means. The club hasn’t previously refused to sign players with an agent, it just doesn’t pay agents’ fees (meaning the player pays from their wages). Assume it means both players are looking for more money elsewhere. If so, if they can’t find another club, they might come back to Dowse at a later date, but having to pay their agent some of their money this time!

To be fair the current situation is one where decent agents could really earn their money by knowing which leagues and clubs are starting up when and who might really have the money to fulfil a contract etc
Probably going to be quite a contraction in the number of professional/semi-professional players

At least the treatment table will be free for the other players to share

He wasn’t too bad in terms of injuries last season.

The season before, yes. But I think that was partly down to Dowse calling players pussies for not wanting to play through injuries and rushing them back.

Well rest assured he won’t be signing for Sutton, unless he just wants to play away games only - minus appearing at Bromley and Harrogate of course.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Jake move on as he's had two pretty good seasons with us so probably has attracted abit of interest around the national league. Berkshire lad so wouldn't expect him to travel too far but I think he may have had a few offers he's weighing up. Decent striker and playing in a team that didn't create loads of opportunities so I think if he can find a team with more creative players then he would increase his goal tally for sure.

I don't think he's very well liked at Stevenage either, so we can cross that one off.

Wouldn't think his body would stand up to full time football

in the current climate it makes absolute sense for Jake and the like to use all available resources at their disposal. It makes pretty good sense at any time.

Plus he's 30 in a couple of days and the last time he got double figures in a league season before joining us was 2013-14.

I'd be very surprised if a better team than us came in for him.

With over 1600 footballers of contract I’m not surprised!
