It begins. "After an intense training session featuring over 30 players, Glenn Tamplin and his coaching staff have completed their first Romford signings."

Salim Nassor
Briggs Ojeman
Novell Sony Bruce
Sam Bantick
Jay Bacon
Freddy Moncur
Tyrone Kirunda
Manny Agboola
Germaine Dua
Tambeson Eyong
Mohammed Mahmoud
Jordan Westcott
Akeem Campbell
Joshua Exley Banks

Eyong was the lad sent off for Billericay against us when we did them at Kingfield. Moncur's got about 400 minutes in League Two, another 100 in the Conference. Not a single other name I recognise there.

Good luck to them I say, they haven't had much to cheer for a while and Romford is a shit hole, so I am sure it will be fun while it lasts! Plus old sniffy is letting everyone in for free this weekend and given them all a drink, so I imagine it will be a record crowd of winos, homeless people and "groundhoppers"

I doubt many "groundhoppers" will be there as the majority of them will have been to Brentwood FC already, even a few Woking fans will have been there.

Hopefully Dowse is happy to be called “Gaffer.” Not sure that I could put up with a manager who insisted on being called “Daddy Pig.” Surely this whole charade has all got to be for the ITV cameras?

His nose will dissolve like Daniella Westbrook's.

From last night's ES :

What a load of old bollocks, the journalist who took that interview must have wet himself laughing at what the tax cheating cokehead was saying. Ultimately if he was dead then how can he remember what anybody or anything that was said. What a total prick.

I see Billericay were on today's List of Winding Up orders at the High Court, on the same list as Macclesfield and Bury. Looks like all 3 secured a further 2 week stay of execution. So predictable

So what happened to his “I’ve paid off all their debts, they owe no one and I leave them with my head held high knowing I’ve left them financially stable and in a good place” ?
Something must have altered the clarity of thought and he maybe got confused. I wonder what......?

Indeed club statement from new owners suggests they were unaware of the winding up order

https://www.billericaytownfc.co.uk/club-statement-6/
Earlier today, we were contacted by a couple of media sources for comment as the club appeared on the ‘Companies Court winding up list’. On investigation, this was an ‘unadvertised’ procedure relating to a debt from before the current consortium took control.

The club are in the process of dealing with all the creditors from that period and are comfortable that everything necessary is being done to resolve these past issues.

Billericay Town FC is stable and moving forward in the right direction both on and off the field,

Thank you for your continued support.

Oakie, you can't be suggesting that GT would saddle an organisation with debt and then fly the coop?

The man is just a drug fuelled version of Simon Dent/Hollis/Poole

Starts up companies, builds up debts (HMRC mostly), closes company leaving debts unpaid then starts again with a clean slate (but not septum)

Most likely to be found in years to come in a range rover down an Essex country lane

I don't think I suggested anything of the sort & I certainly didn't suggest that financial information provided to the new buyers under Due Diligence was inaccurate/incomplete either, especially as looking in from outside, Mr Tamplin strikes me as a very astute business man with high moral standards whose businesses would naturally always work in the most ethical fashion possible.

Haha! He's the real life character Craig Fairbass played in the Foot soldier movies. Coked up, and completely fucking mental.
