Right then. Assuming BT Sport don't mess things up and move our fixtures around, we have a quiz night set for Friday 6th December, the evening before Hartlepool at home.

Tickets will be £10 and will include food provided on the night. Food type tbc but likely to be hot food not buffet.
Doors will open at 7pm with the quiz getting underway around 7:30.

We have sold out the last three events and had to turn entries away with a month to spare previously, so if you're keen on entering please don't leave it until the last minute.

All money raised (minus food costs and winners prizes) goes straight into boost the budget.

If you would like to submit a team, please either send me a message on here, email me on johngreenwood132@hotmail.com or send me a message on 07834 362296, look forward to another successful evening!

Cheers, John

Morning folks,

So I have had quite a few people say they're interested but these are who have committed so far - eight teams registered which is approx. 50% of tables claimed.
I will require numbers for team entries a week before so we can get the catering right (food type still tbc).

Julie Tremble
Brent Smith
Paul Sarney
Ben KV
Steve King
Lynn Corbett
Jon Woozley
Stoo Roberts

Any queries please let me know on the contact details below. I am away from Monday for two weeks so I will get back to you when I can.

Cheers, John

With just over two weeks left to go, I thought I would do a quick quiz night update.

The following have all registered a team with me. If this is no longer the case, please let me know. So we can get catering numbers right, can all teams please let me know expected numbers in their group size by 30/11/2019.

Julie Tremble (8)
Brent Smith (?)
Paul Sarney (?)
Ben KV (8)
Steve King (?)
Lyn Corbett (?)
Stoo Roberts (?)
Nick Shaw (6?)
Craig Holder (8)
Nicholas Bentley (?)
WFC Womens team (8)
Hannah Donaghey (?)
Paul Griffin (?)
KN (7)
Graham Skyrme (3)

There's one team space left available if anyone is thinking of attending.
Food on the night will be a chicken curry with rice and a poppadom, with a vegetarian option also being served on the night.

If anyone is in a position to bring a raffle prize along that would be greatly appreciated. Look forward to having you all. Any questions please send me a message.

Doors open at 7pm for a 730pm (ish - it's not Oakley hosting the quiz this time so timings may be better) start.

Thanks, John

We are ready to kick some butt tomorrow.
Me, Adrian, Lynn, Tim, Ian, Georgia, Paul and possibly Thomas.

I may be slightly late as I have to ditch my daughter in Frimley Green first (child abuse).

Feel free to join us Nico?
We're down to a bare 4 at the moment, and we've got to beat the other GU7 team!

Right then, you lovely lot.

Thank you to the following;
The 90 (ish) people that attended and made the night what it was
Dave Hall for doing a sterling job with the food
Debbie and the bar staff for doing a fantastic job behind the bar
Torquay scummer Matt for hosting
And Mark for co-writing a quiz.

Over £1,000 raised for the Cards Trust this evening, a stunning effort all round.

The general consensus was there is some interest in hosting a race night, something we will look into. If anyone would be interested in helping run the event, please send me a message.

Quiz night will return next December.

Until then, cheers folks!!!

Thanks to all those involved in arranging this event. It was a great evening and all done in the best possible taste.
A bit of a shock that it was won by a team of first-time quizzers.
On Belhalf of KC and the Sunshine Banned - thank you!
NOW let's get on with today's task and beat the Monkey Hangers...COYC
