Thrilled with this one. Parry and Moussa is one scary defensive partnership!

"How's the children?" "Good condition!"

The Mouss is loose. If we don't score 10-15 goals from corners this season we've done something wrong.

I’d be very surprised if our back four for the first game isn’t Cook - Diarra - Parry - Casey.

I wonder if Diarra or Parry got injured whether we move Cook to CB and Collier comes in or we play Gerring.

Any danger of someone new with a bit of proven quality? Blimey, could just photoshop Parry and Howes and use last season's squad picture.

Agree with this in general but Diarra is one who actually is proven with 100 games in the National League.

Could have at least used his real first name of OH.

parry and tarpey also have experience as does poku.. dowse has given the chance to the players who helped us progress to this level whilst recruiting 3 proven players. still early days with more signings/loanees to come.

Diarra grew on me...ok with him being back, he certainly can become a cult figure. Had he not signed, I would not be downbeat but welcome back. We need to play to his strengths.

Still plenty of time, but anyone else who finished the season with us going to sign up?!

Great signing, what a nice guy. We’ve have the foundations of a good side, let’s hope we can hit the ground running with a few key additions.

People are underestimating our side but let’s not forget that most of our key players last year were loanees, Dowse will use the loan market to his advantage and will be able to fill gaps in the team

On the subject of loanees, would anyone take Harry Taylor back? Internet seems to tell me his contract has expired. I thought he was very useful.

He’s a right back, and a very useful player, so I’d 100% have him back. I think we had 100% win record with him in the team for league games

It's possible some people are over-estimating and peddling optimism. Which is fine. Time will tell. We all hope it's positive.

It’s weird, the last 10-15 games of last season most on here didn’t seem to rate most of our players bar the loanees (+ Cook and Casey). Now we’ve re-signed almost the entire team and everyone is saying it’s GREAT NEWS.

If this seasons playing budget is similar to last seasons, then it’s likely that the best squad we can afford to assemble will be very similar to the squad assembled last season.
Given that last seasons squad performed well, it seems sensible to retain a good number of them.

We were the best place part time team in the country I believe. We are still part time, so who Cs we get who is better?
