Out of pure interest, can anyone answer a couple questions?

Who are our top 5 goal scorers? Our top 5 appearance makers? And if anyone knows what our biggest league away crowd is?

Many thanks for any help!

Tim Buzaglo and Alan Morton must figure in the top 5

Doylie is the man here

As for away support in a league game, that's a fantastic question. How many times have we taken over 1000 to an away league game ?. In my life as a fan (since 1978) I can't think of that many. Our biggest support would always be at Aldershot or maybe Farnborough in the play off game of 2011?. Dover in 2010?

Doesn't Charlie Mortimer hold the all time club scoring record? 250+ goals?

Our biggest away following at Aldershot in recent years was 740 in 17/18. 710 (15/16) 679 (14/15) 652 (13/14) 527 (16/17) our other followings there.
The 740 is the biggest for a regular league game I've seen, although my memory doesn't go back as far as 1978!

Apparently we had 695 at Hampton on NYD although it felt more than that...

I heard it was about 14-1500 at bath. Whether that's a league game or not...

That nightmare at Stevenage in 96 must have been one our biggest ever away followings, don't know what that terrace held but it was pretty packed from memory.

Maidenhead away was over 1000 when we won the south last time (was there an official attendance?)

Was that game segregated (stands in addition to terraces, that is)? Impossible to say what was our biggest away following historically as segregation is a relatively recent thing.

Taking your question literally our biggest league away crowd must be Oxford Utd away one Boxing Day around 2008-2009? Wasn't it in excess of 11,000?

When SMASHING the Isthmian in 91-92 the average attendances of our opposition was vastly bettered on our visit.
IIRC it was only a handful of times that year when WFC wasn’t the highest attendance of their season.

I’m probably confused after all this time, but I’m willing to guess we pushed the “1,000 away” pretty regularly that year.

Our biggest appearance maker was Brian Finn, with 576 league and cup appearances between 1962 and 1974.

He also holds the club record of playing in 216 consecutive games for Woking.

I think I’m right in saying that the attendance at this game is the highest for a League match in the National League until Bristol Rovers got 11500 for a match.
