New Mascot

Post by jonwoozley » Thu Jun 14, 2018 5:59 am

I was thinking maybe we should get a new mascot to go with our new team.... how about a beaver? To show how modern we are we could give it a female name. I propose BLANCHE THE BEAVER. What could go wrong?

A female??? Are you mad??? You can’t pigeonhole people by their sexuality these days. OMG!!!!!
Blanche the gender neutral beaver doesn’t have the same ring to it though.

In light of our early nickname, the Cremators, could we look at having a mascot based on the WWF wrestler the Undertaker? I can’t imagine it would be scary for kids and it’s a massive upgrade on Kingfield Cat Cat IMO.

Letting the oppo come out first whilst waiting for us to walk through a line of druids with the Undertakers music trying to crash through our ropey sound system would be pretty cool.

And we have to run on to ‘War of the Worlds’ as we used to.

We could rename the clubhouse the Crooked Cardinal too.

If we go with Jon's suggestion, we could also run out to 'Beaver Patrol' by Pop Will Eat Itself, but it's not particularly politically correct..............

We could dress up the floodlights as aliens for an accompanying light show?

We could always change our name to Hampton & Richmond Borough!! We have their management team, half of their players and now nicking their mascot.
