Is it me, or is this a bit unfair on us? It’s not even about the extra travel, but the fact that our main title rivals effectively had an extra home game this season!

It’s you.
You could argue we’ve played more games than them so are more tired. Or they’ve travelled further as there’s more teams in Essex than Devon.

We've actually only played 1 more game so far haven't we? They've played 2 more in the league and we've played 2 more FA Cup games. Only the Trophy replay at Maidstone was extra.

A semi-interesting fact (that may even be stretching it) - we've played more FA Cup games in the last two seasons (12) than in the previous six seasons combined (11).
