Yes we would, yes he'd get in the team.
Could we afford him? No idea
Would he want to play CS? No idea.
More likely to end up at Ebbsfleet with GH or one of the other top end National sides

Well well, with Loza gone Goddard is a natural fit.

Decent option, but he was never the quickest. Without Loza we will lack real pace.

I’d like to think that our former player of the season in our ConfProper days would be a better than “pretty decent” tbh. Pace or class? I’d take the scummer*

*private joke- love you Jon!

Goddard coming back is a perfect fit at a perfect time.

Gutted about Loza though.

I can still remember being ridiculed on here for saying how good he was.....

Could we not look to get Goddard, push Hodges out wide.

Would then have a creative player in the middle of the park and pace outside...?

The club's just had a financial windfall. If they're dead set on promotion then they should be looking to use some of that cash to replace Loza with someone even better!

Doesn’t the financial windfall mainly go to covering the annual loss?

He struggled to get starts for Bromley in that recent loan. Not sure how a top end national side would be interested.

Of course I would have him back here in a flash. Such a quality player for us before he left. Genuinely thought he would be playing at a high level, so not sure what happened. Crisis of confidence maybe.

Yeah thats the way Dino, go public and tell the world a player is not wanted and really boost their confidence. Whilst you are at it, imply to your own fans you can't make new signings because this contracted player is using up your budget and really endear him to the fans!!!

I think it's time we bought Johnny home! (Just started singing to fine young cannibals in my head)

I could alter the lyrics but really despise that song. Traumatised as a child by continuous repeats on the Saturday Morning Picture show.

Bad form from dino. Why not point and just shout witch witch witch!!

If anyone has watched the Sunderland documentary on Netflix, this is what their Chief Exec/Manager did about Jack Rodwell.

Satanage shouldn't have offered a 2.5 year contract to Goddard if you don't want to pay his wages for 2.5 years.

We're hardly going to be able to afford his wages though and it doesn't sound like they want to loan him for free..

Goddard will be very keen to stay full-time, but he didn't do that well at Bromley, so he might have to set his sights a bit lower than mid-table NL. Aldershot or Billericay, I reckon.
