Loads of changes for the second half, almost exclusively trialists. Young in at RB, we've somehow replaced Acheampong with someone even taller?!

Probably more about fitness today I suppose. Glorified training game. Tougher tests to come.

Matt Young’s been playing more as a right back rather than a wing back. Defence definitely the thing with “boys behind your man”, “goal side” and “ first and second “.
Lots of calls from Dowse and interest to see his philosophy in action.
2nd half Reggie has impressed and 19 working hard. 20 reminds me of Bambi bless him.
Defence rather untroubled.

Really impressed by Reggie Young. Strong, quick, tricky and made all the right choices. Probably the only player in the second half who has given Dowse a decision to make (including Young).

Liked the physicality of the team in the first half. Berti’s a big lad who wasn’t troubled, but Cook, Gayle and Collier dealt with everything against them. The six (DM) did well without the ball, but lacked a little quality in possession. Both wingers in the first half looked bright, but neither screamed out that they deserve a contract (maybe another look). Fabio and DOA looked good - whilst not
looking 100%. The ten did ok - probably the 2nd best striker on the team, but maybe not good enough for another game.

Overall, it was a very early pre-season game, which was never going to tell us much - but should enable Dowse to trim his team.

Reggie already has a contract so only decision for Dowse is if he's a starter. Thanks for the review though good to hear the contracted players look good!

Obviously got to account for the standard of the opposition but Reggie Young looked very handy and Cook looked very big and solid at the back and was good to see a CB bullying in to head a goal.
The 20 was a out 15 feet tall but a bit of a Bambi!

Spot on Dave.
Their number 6 is worth a look but I feel our back line is the least of our worries. Rather see the other lads get a game before judgement day. Reggie was really good and full of skill and running.
Loved Berti at the back hollering out the midfield.
So far, all those signed up look sound but not sure about our forwards just yet.

Interesting hearing Dowse talk to the team afterwards ........ shit sandwich but to the point and fair.

Oh yes Understood him loud and clear.
If you’re not up to it.... you won’t be here

Praised Reggie for his good play and then pulled him up for not tracking back.

I didn’t mean about a contract - more that he’s probably been signed as cover, but suggested (IMO) he was the most effective attacking player on show.

Impressed with number 11 in first half, and Reggie Young second half. But the 6'8 striker second half was shocking

Fucking hell - if the bloke doing those videos ever sheds his V plates, I’d be amazed.

If I ever get to the point of ground hopping random pre-season games and videoing it, can someone please put me out of my misery?

Whats the point in knocking the lad? He clearly enjoys doing these kind of things and it’s not causing any harm

Was impressed with the number 11. No idea his name, but he’s been playing in Sweden. Very nice chap too, desperately wants to play for us.

Considering what most teenagers get upto these days I think he should be applauded for his enterprise.
