New manager

Whose job is it to leak the announcement, now that Flakey’s gone back to Aldershot?

Oh go on, I’ll have a go.

Wenger will sign a five year contract to replace the previous three year plan and will cost us nothing. He’s actually looking to build a Phoenix and will fund transfers himself.

Or

Dowson will sign a two year contract and WFC are paying him 3 times the salary at H&R (that’s from their fans)

Pick which you want.

H&R forum seem to think Dowson won't have even been interviewed for the post.
Firstly they're saying that he's too honourable to go off to an interview without seeking permission from H&RB.
Secondly they're saying he's in the middle of a two year contract anyway.
Thirdly they're pointing out that due to the timing of the playoffs. it's not likely that he'd have been involved at all.

Bearing in mind what GC said about the playoffs not having any relevance to the appointment, they might be right?

Didn’t BFG just say that the playoffs were not the reason the announcement was delayed until Tuesday, rather than not being relevant to the choice?

Richardson is fairly well connected I believe at Woking, I'd suggest there is some basis to his report.

Very trusting lot at Hampton, from reading their forum.

Let's be honest, whatever the circumstances behind the scenes, one cannot argue that Woking are (or should be) a far better proposition for any aspiring manager at Conference South (and I would argue) some teams at National League level, looking to make a name for themselves and take a sleeping giant of non league football back and beyond where they should justifiably be.

Did we get him on a free transfer?

You seriously won't want to have paid a fee for him!

12 month rolling contract is the latest post, which would make him available. The plot thickens.

I thought to myself over the weekend that it all adds up to be someone else, but that certainly is interesting. The club would be stupid not to approach him. I hope they haven't just gone for whoever's applied...
