Ok, maybe Delap should have shielded that ball out.

Re: Luke Garrard to leave BW

He would have had a number of interested clubs had he been open to offers last summer. I reckon then was the time to leave for him, although he had seemingly the safest job at this level.

He’ll probably still have a decent level of interest in him, though.

Re: Bromley (A) Match Thread

Gutted! They deserved the 3 points yesterday. Huge effort from everyone out there. Not sure why Doyle is letting us head into the 92nd minute with 2 subs left. After those 2 great saves we should have been looking to slow things down. We had 2 subs to do that with. There was only 3 minutes added on...

Like when R&WA relegated us in (January?). You can’t convince people once their minds are made up 🤷‍♂️
I said we were likely to go after the Ebbsfleet game. As did you.

Seems like we’ve both changed our minds since then and we probably won’t go down, so not quite sure what your point is.

Re: Bromley (A) Match Thread

Anyone enjoy watching the amount of plod running up and down the road to the station? Anyone would think Bromley were playing Millwall... They were on the train to Victoria too, and escorted the kids onto the next train! Not happy with Doyle throwing Delap under the bus, even if he didn't name him....

Re: Updated run ins

We shouldn’t have to worry about Dorking now.

Boreham Wood need to beat Wealdstone on Saturday I’d say.

Whoever wins out of York v Eastleigh on Saturday will be safe.

Re: Bromley (A) Match Thread

Anyone want to hazard a guess at how many points might still get you relegated - AGM Trophy not withstanding 50. We'll be safe on 51 with our goal difference. Not if Kiddy win 2 of their last 3 (Halifax H, Eastleigh H, Barnet A) as that will take them to 52. The way it’s going, everyone from Wealds...

Re: Bromley (A) Match Thread

Good performance and a good point. An absolute sickener though.

Chesterfield seem to be doing there bit to keep teams above water. Kiddy only 3 points behind now.

Lose on Saturday and we’re in a fair bit of trouble.

Re: Sonny sing

Is there a limit to number of signings in a season or number of loans etc? For some reason I had it in my head there was, but maybe I remembered wrong. As long as the ones coming in keep us up and give us something to build on for next year… There’s a limit to the number of loan players in a match ...

Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

I’m from the R&WA school of internet posting. Never read posts or answers - unless they meet my AGENDA. He’s a bit short, he gets bullied by Bigger Boys…but he doesn’t usually let the straight ones in - Jaaskelainen that is, not R&WA. Not letting the straight ones in is surely the bare minimum. I’m...

Not quite sure what you mean by that comment
How can anyone realistically think Luker/Judge/Edwards is the best midfield in the national league? Especially as we’ve only seen Judge play once.

Ah yes. My error was in giving you an answer to your question. You’re a winner. I see you’ve outwitted me yet again and I am now entirely without words. It being the season of re-birth and renewal and a time for fresh starts, I’ll give you an answer - it’s an obvious answer but I’ll give it to you anyway, you Negative Nellie, because you keep asking. Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

Look at the extended highlights. 8:45. Their keeper is just as beaten by a corner as ours. The difference is that their fella was able to get his head to the ball and score and ours wasn’t. That failure of the defence is not our keeper’s fault. “The Finnish Dwarf” as a group of my fellow fans call ...

Re: WFC TV | Woking 0-1 Eastleigh | Extended Match Highlights

Name a worse keeper who’s played regualrly for us then (Andre doesn’t count as he made one mistake and got dropped. Will’s made about 10). I don’t think Ross was any better overall. Wasn’t much better in the air, shocking distribution, and seemed to save the hard ones but let in the easier ones. Ju...

Re: WFC TV | Woking 0-1 Eastleigh | Extended Match Highlights

Berkoe’s nutmegs! And that flick through for Judge on the 1-2 was fantastic. The penalty claim looks better from behind but the defender gets so close to the ball that can see why the ref’s angle didn’t look like a pen. The culprit immediately looks guiltily at the ref, as does the other defenders ...

Re: Why can't we score?

Pavey is well out of his depth at this level. “Works hard” but surely that’s the minimum required of a professional footballer. Kendall is alright at running the channels but probably a 1 in 5 man at this level (excluding penalties). Amond (as he was around for a bit under Doyle): see above. Edward...

How on earth can we beat Barnet and lose to Eastleigh?
I don’t think there is a better midfield in this league than Edwards/Luker/Judge so I’m excited to see what happens on Monday.

Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

Perhaps it’s more due to his ability, but we do seem overly dependent upon a bit of magic from Luker at the moment. Shame to see Odusina get injured as he’s the one of the 3 CB’s you’d have banked on being fine on 3G on Monday. Felt perhaps we should’ve gone gung-ho a bit earlier as the Kidderminst...

Their goal made horrendous viewing
Will being unable to claim a ball about 2 yards away from him. Probably the worst game to him in goal for against Eastleigh’s giants.

Good shot stopper but weak as piss with crosses.

Re: Updated run ins

After today:

Kiddy likely need 3 wins from 4 and have Chestefield away on Monday.
Dorking likely need 3 wins from 5.

Those two look very likely to go.

The remaining spot is between Bwood, Wealdstone, Ebbsfleet, Maidenhead, us and possibly York.
