I'll never understand abuse aimed at Inih. A maverick, but a joy to watch in both spells. He'd have been an excellent impact sub last season and would arguably be first choice this season for us.

Lovely man too.

Re: Match day thread D÷R Home

We looked a bit disorganised in the first half after they equalised, and Daggers created enough chances to win. But a strong last fifteen minutes and some well taken goals. Luker on a run is a thrilling sight. Elation at the final whistle. Didn't understand all the KRE hatred for Inih who scored lo...

Re: Match day thread D÷R Home

Lucky to still be in this game - could be 4-1 down! Other scores couldn’t get much worse. Need something miraculous or we’re really in the poo. I don't see the 1-4 at all. Quite an even, albeit dull, game. We are quite flat - another game when it hasn't happened for either of our strikers, who I im...

Re: Dartford going down and fixture pile up

I dislike Dartford TBH. Crappy new build, whiny fans (didn't one of them officially complain about the rain when we played them), the worst drummer ever and they were annoyingly competitive with us for a while.

From my perspective, if we can beat the Daggers I couldn’t really give a monkeys what anybody else does COYC
Me too. It's been a shitshow of a season. Relying on other teams being shitter, whilst spunking away the biggest budget in our history, isn't something to aim at.

How can we keep signing players?!

Feels like loads, is there a limit or anything? Getting slightly worried to be honest.
I think some of the departures (e.g. Amond) have freed up a LOT of money.

Re: WFC TV | Woking 0-1 Eastleigh | Extended Match Highlights

The issue wasn't letting Ross go in itself. It was replacing someone with someone not up to standard (the fact he's been demoted to number 2 twice in a season would suggest they're well aware too). If we signed Grant Smith we'd be in a significantly better position. I'm not sure you've thought that...

Re: WFC TV | Woking 0-1 Eastleigh | Extended Match Highlights

If you replace a keeper of the standard of Ross it had better be for a better player and we didn’t do that. It’s not WJs fault but he clearly isnt a step up or even as good as Ross. Another poor pieces of judgement from Sarll last summer Will is as good as Ross - they just have rather different qua...

Re: WFC TV | Woking 0-1 Eastleigh | Match Highlights and Interview

Because Barnet came out and played us at football so we had the space for our really rather good midfield to put through our sub par strikers. Is that true? I thought Barnet set up to get a nil nil. Not a millions miles different to Eastleigh, who we opened up more in approach play, but didn't real...

Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

Frustrating game. Real quality in the midfield. Defence pretty solid all game. Mixed out wide - I thought the sponsors got the MotM wrong - Berkoe was excellent and Moss frustrating for me. Massive lack of quality up front though - sloppy touches, poor movement etc... let us down massively. Eastleig...

I believe Browne has an option on his contract anyway. He could extend it at any time if he wanted to.
Surely it’s our option to extend it, not his?
That's what I thought too.

Re: Tuesday thoughts & MDs Record so far

There have been mentions recently that Browne may re-appear soon, he’s turned up recently in his training gear in group shots of the team. Cue for him during our last couple of games ripping it up with Liam Enver-Marum style “contract form” 🔥 🔥 🔥 and another two year deal. I believe Browne has an o...

Re: Tuesday thoughts & MDs Record so far

Sarll being sacked with no plan in place was scandalous. Even if Dyer won some of those games he was never going to be the long-term solution to getting us out of this league, upwards. And then there was the Thanksgiving holiday. You're underselling the general feeling after Ramsgate and then Oxfor...

Re: Tuesday thoughts & MDs Record so far

Got to love the mention of Wakefield in this thread. He's played well once in his time at the club, against a team multiple leagues below us, in the SSC. He's unlikely, even if fit, to make a matchday squad before the end of the season unless we suffer another injury crisis. Absolute clusterfudge of...

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

Effiong scores two for Dagenham to nick the points v Dorking. When he left, I was quite pleased, wanting an upgrade but in hindsight maybe we should have kept him . There don’t seem to be too many of that striker mould around , he might have really got a good partnership going with Amond . He'd hav...
