Didn’t Palmer have to drop a level (Havant?) to get game time to develop?
Yes, I think Garry Hill said at the time they'd paid us a bit of money. Of course, it was while he was at Havant that Chelsea began their relentless pursuit of him...

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

How many Academy players have we had near the squad not utilised and then gone onto better things? I can only think of Ollie Palmer. He didn't get games because we had Gez, Gray, Hammond and Cowan-Hall at the time Palmer also had that ridiculous Twitter spat with Adam Newton where he proclaimed him...

Good to see Inih Effiong following the Joey Jones approach of posting a clip of his goal on Instagram straight after a 1-4 home defeat.
If he's only allowed to post this season when Aldershot win, he might as well delete his account now.

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

Haven't seen him formally mentioned as part of their coaching/management team, but Martin Tyler took Dartford's training session yesterday.

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

It would appear Loza has gone to Barnet. How bad is he? Not expecting great things! We're very close to getting Krezchmar over the line as well. Basically a Woking FC reject team at this point... He's surely one of the under-achievers your manager had in mind when he publicly blamed Woking players ...

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

Max still not lined up a move ? Reports of Colchester, barrow and Southend with Colchester looking most likely I'd imagine he's training with his favoured option at the moment so that both parties can take a look at each other before any deal. Speaking of training, Loza is apparently at Barnet.

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

Josh Staunton is now interim manager of Yeovil after Charlie Lee left them this morning. Aged just 26, he will take charge of their game at Altrincham on Sunday Interesting. I wonder where Darren Sarll's former No. 2 will turn up next, having reportedly declined an opportunity to remain on Yeovil's...

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

Not sure I'd eulogise quite so much about the quality of Yeovil's squad compared to ours. Apparently we're a bunch of underachieving pea-hearted losers, and yet we're only three or four points behind Yeovil. Did they also underachieve this season under their previous manager? What was the gap when ...

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

I like the idea of Carter returning, especially if the rumours about Josh Staunton coming back are true. How far are we going to go to reunite that glorious Limbrick team?
