Re: Dartford going down and fixture pile up

Oh dear, what a shitfest, but thanks for clearing that up, still makes a mockery of the other league placings though, as can't imagine Truro will be able to field anything other than a Guildford and Woking alliance type league team by the time they get to next thursday Exactly In fact the Truro ‘ho...

Re: WFC TV | Woking 0-1 Eastleigh | Extended Match Highlights

I haven't seen a keeper who flaps as much as will unfortunately...what was he doing on Friday? He either should keep going and go for the catch or stay on his line and shuffle across and gobble up a pretty weak header...he cut himself completely out the game . Too small, too flappy, a bad puncher w...

Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

I got talking to the Halifax scout at HT (he was watching Eastleigh as they play them in a few weeks) and he said that it's a common theme in other teams scouting notes that when playing Woking to put in as many crosses as possible into the 6 yard area. We haven't let in many goals this season, so ...

Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

It was kind of us to get into the seasonal spirit by picking a keeper who can't deal with crosses, but also disappointing because literally the only thing Will had to do today was punch away a few dangerous balls into the box (credit to Eastleigh by the way, they were quality deliveries). Sadly Lor...

Re: Why can't we score?

Because we haven’t recruited a decent striker. We signed Alfie who is a real tryer but not good enough, we extended the contract of Greggs Cox when long term injured, we signed Browne who picks and chooses when he plays well and has been injured since he took a mid season break in the Caribbean. So,...

Re: Match Thread Eastleigh H

Two things that we are very bad at is, taking our chances and Goalkeeper recruitment.

That is why we lost today, simple as that.

A pair of decent keepers and a proven striker, at this level in the Summer please.

When I asked why they had closed the gate, blocking the pathway that has been used for the last four years to exit the ground, the reply from these “Stewards” was;

“Because we fucking can”

Interesting take on customer care…..

Re: Dorking

I have a lot of time for what he's achieved at Dorking. There was a reference to them being the new Staines - honestly can't agree with that. What he's done and where they have got has taken a lot of hard work. He called out some of his so called mindless fans a week or two back, good for him - but...

Good viewing, but as unprofessional as the those he is chastising.

If Marc is Role Modelling the Culture at Dorking, why is he surprised by the behaviour of those he employs?

Re: Do you enjoy football?

Just reading Peter Crouch's great little book 'How to be an ex-footballer' and he has an interesting interview with Jody Craddock - sentiments I have heard from other retired players as well. 'It was always all about football. It was always what I wanted to do. But do I miss it? I miss the lads' ba...
