Re: Makes subs sooner

Yes we need another striker for sure, BUT we already have one yet to play down the middle in Dave Tarpey

When we whack it at Hyde we look poor and its not fair in him having to compete against tower blocks , I feel he needs someone up there with him.

Re: Black September 2

People can have a go at Dowson but it wasn't him scooping the ball over from 6 yards

We made enough chances to win comfortably

I swear some of our fans think Craig Ross should have the collective passing vision of Glenn Hoddle and Steven Gerrard combined.

Re: Black September 2

You can hardly call 2 defeats by a single goal 'BLACK SEPTEMBER' can you ?. Hardly getting our pants pulled down and penetrated by Margate and Stevenage was it ? A large chunk of our fan base needs to mop its collective fadge and HTFU. The next 25 points could be a grind and if you aren't happy then...

Re: Black September 2

I agree with Meerkat, it's too slow in midfield and Hyde looks far too isolated, I'd like to see Tarpey right up there with Hyde.

Loza looked better, more than enough chances to win the game.

Re: RIP Bury FC

Did they really expect clubs that they owe money, to happily admit them back debt-free with a smile on their face ?

Anything else just sends a message you can overspend, dodge your debts and wipe the slate clean far too easily

Re: Match Thread A v Bromley VNL

Never seen a good game on plastic and never will. players from both side spent a lot of time slipping over and the ball just rockets off down the hill. Bromley look a decent team, you can see why they are doing well. They've invested heavily but annoyingly are now followed by plastic Millwall fans. ...

Re: RIP Bury FC

Bury fans would be better off now planning for Evo Stik premier in August 2020.

They have a real chance now to sort their club out. Even better if they can get Gigg Lane at an affordable rent. It might take between 5 and 10 years to return to league football though

Re: RIP Bury FC

Interesting that Brazilian consortium with £7m wanted to buy them

What on earth would they want with Bury FC.

Clearly better for them to start again, free from those without their best interests at heart
