Paul Hodges scores from his own box for Basingstoke - and yes you read that right. https://x.com/basingstoke_fc/status/1781981364771823884?s=46&t=tng4FGmdtq5oaExU2fKVLg This is a better version. This season has been AIDS. 2/3rds of this squad should never be employed by us ever again

Too many passengers,pea-hearts and utter wasters costing us thousands a week for not producing anything
Doyle needs a clearout like he's been on a week long stag do in Magaluf, eating curry every day.

Re: FA Cup Replays

I took my daughter to the Bristol City v West Ham cup replay this year. She doesn't like football, but by the end of the game she was bouncing on the East Bank. It's not all about money, it's also about experiences and memories. If the players are tired, play the f'ing reserves, more chance of an up...

Re: Staying up or going down?

Some of us are still scarred by the end of the 1984-85 season and a final day that looks ominously similar to this one. After a terrible start to the season under the unfortunate Bill Dodgin, we'd picked up under Geoff and were in reasonably good form. We just needed a point from the final game to ...

Re: Updated run ins

Now I was not one who stupidly got pulled in by last seasons play-off finish and thought we'd challenge at the top this season, but as I stood there at Kidderminster last August - if anyone said we'd go into the last game of the season needing a result to stay up I'd have laughed my head off, footb...

Re: Updated run ins

No we are not reliant on anyone. Absolute worst case is a 3 goal win against Flyde keeps us up, but any win will be enough, bar a 7+ goal win for Ebbsfleet on Tuesday. Midweek results may do the work for us, but it is totally in our own hands. But do you think we'll beat Fylde? When we need to. Wit...

What do you suggest?
Give Fylde fans only the LGS and but use the same entrance a bit like Dagenham do.
Absolutely right, the KRE can then spill over into the CLT removing any need for nazi stewards (bingo tick).

More fans, lower costs, better atmosphere.

Rumour has it that the strikers went to see Hanna Morris, of Littlewick Road, Knaphill, who was "charged with managing a brothel used for prostitution in the Constitution Hill area of the town", so they could learn how to score..

Our top scorers (Scoreboa and Grego-Cox) have 6 league goals this season.

Finishing the season with our top scorer having a few as 6 goals must be a club 'record'?
I give you 1982/83. John Cassidy top scored with 5! Most of them from 30 yards.

Re: Updated run ins

Stortford have been relegated from the North already which probably adds to the problem if they were the most northern of the south. I'd think Braintree will be heading north and as you say maybe others based on those possibly going down from the NL. I would guess it would be Hemel H. or St Albans,...

Did anyone see the Chesterfield fan walking home with the Vanarama Champions sign? It reminded me of someone looking like Growler walking off with the play-off plinth at Bath in 2009.
