For us EXp's - I hear that NLTV may not be streaming next season.
Who could have predicted that it wasn't sustainable without Wrexham! Pretty sure only exiles and Waffles denied this.

Re: Season Tickets 24/25

Just got mine. Under £400 for three of us - with at least two of us doing 20+ games. That's so much cheaper than any other family entertainment, so no complaints on the small price increase here.

Re: Match Thread York City A

I've had a bit to say about Edwards (great debut, then dropped off, but has been far better recently), but I think his performance was more to do with Akinola (who also didn't track the runner for the first goal). He's just so poor in possession that it puts extra responsibility on others. Moss is v...

Looks to have knocked us. We were set up for the draw and now we looked fucked.

Oyeleke for Akinola and we need something up front. Our strikers have been anonymous again.

Re: Shirt Sales

I don't think it was itemised on the accounts. The comparison with premier league clubs won't work, because they will sell millions compared to hundreds for us. They'll have a massive advantage on margin and volume. I doubt the shop's annual PROFITS are anywhere close to funding one player for the s...

I might have missed it - but is there anything after? Big crowd, lunchtime game etc.... some sort of "drink the bar dry" happy hour or similar might prove popular.

Re: Updated DOYLERSTATS

Is that actually true? MD didn't SPEND any of our reportedly large budget close season May the 4th (be with you ) thru July 2023. In fact I don't think MD spent anything until December 17th 2023 at the earliest. He may be the manager but the extravagant waste of money was not down to him. Is he the...

Re: Updated DOYLERSTATS

What is it about MD that makes you feel 'unsure'? We've had some luck. It isn't like he's suddenly turned us into a great team, despite being able to bring in quite a few players (including paying fees - he really has had massive backing from the owners). Some of the games under him (Solihull/Ebbsf...

Re: Updated DOYLERSTATS

MD has proved to the knee jerkers he does have something about him, it was a massive risk, but seems to have paid off (fingers crossed) this season and we go into the next one with hope, recruitment is key (as it always is) I am quite excite, although I was very positive at the start of this season...

Re: Updated DOYLERSTATS

Great discussion and I agree with everyone here, but one thing I disagree with: it’s a back three, not a back five. With the current two wing backs - I'd argue it doesn't really matter. It does look like a five quite often - but they really have a licence to get forward. Moss, despite lacking quali...

In those first ten games, how many times did we have a centre back playing out of position in midfield? How many in the last eleven?

I’m still not convinced by Luker, great goal but a bit of a wafty luxury. Better as an impact sub. I'm very much convinced by him, but also agree with the last bit. He really changes a game when he comes on. He's like a far more talented Paul Hodges (it's also excusable because of his age, whereas ...

I'll never understand abuse aimed at Inih. A maverick, but a joy to watch in both spells. He'd have been an excellent impact sub last season and would arguably be first choice this season for us.

Lovely man too.

Re: Match day thread D÷R Home

We looked a bit disorganised in the first half after they equalised, and Daggers created enough chances to win. But a strong last fifteen minutes and some well taken goals. Luker on a run is a thrilling sight. Elation at the final whistle. Didn't understand all the KRE hatred for Inih who scored lo...

Re: Match day thread D÷R Home

Lucky to still be in this game - could be 4-1 down! Other scores couldn’t get much worse. Need something miraculous or we’re really in the poo. I don't see the 1-4 at all. Quite an even, albeit dull, game. We are quite flat - another game when it hasn't happened for either of our strikers, who I im...

Re: Dartford going down and fixture pile up

I dislike Dartford TBH. Crappy new build, whiny fans (didn't one of them officially complain about the rain when we played them), the worst drummer ever and they were annoyingly competitive with us for a while.

Me too. It's been a shitshow of a season. Relying on other teams being shitter, whilst spunking away the biggest budget in our history, isn't something to aim at.

How can we keep signing players?!

Feels like loads, is there a limit or anything? Getting slightly worried to be honest.
I think some of the departures (e.g. Amond) have freed up a LOT of money.

Re: WFC TV | Woking 0-1 Eastleigh | Extended Match Highlights

The issue wasn't letting Ross go in itself. It was replacing someone with someone not up to standard (the fact he's been demoted to number 2 twice in a season would suggest they're well aware too). If we signed Grant Smith we'd be in a significantly better position. I'm not sure you've thought that...

Re: WFC TV | Woking 0-1 Eastleigh | Extended Match Highlights

If you replace a keeper of the standard of Ross it had better be for a better player and we didn’t do that. It’s not WJs fault but he clearly isnt a step up or even as good as Ross. Another poor pieces of judgement from Sarll last summer Will is as good as Ross - they just have rather different qua...
