Re: Championship Madness

Combined losses for 2017-18 season Championship sides of over £500m - ridiculous and obscene in equal measure, pat on the back for Burton but as for the rest, so much for EFL financial controls. Operating loss (excluding/before profit on player trading): Wolves - 64,818,000 Fulham - 59,140,000 Asto...

Re: Official statement

This forum is not a substitute for tinder or grinder. I don’t want to meet face to face, because I can’t be bothered and you’re almost certainly a massive bellend - whether via this forum or in person. You don’t have to be BTW.

Re: Official statement

I’m calm thanks. How’s your AGENDA going, or have you stopped being a massive bellend? Ok, no need to jump the defence of the club for what is a valid point. It is not a massive criticism. As for personal insults, I apologised when I insulted you shame you don't have the decency to do the same. As ...

Re: Official statement

Why? Two fringe players are moving on - they’ve told people, does it really matter that the club haven’t announced it?

Re: 1 year today

It hasn’t always been pretty on the pitch at times (we shouldn’t expect it to have been really), but what a breath of fresh air Dowse, Tyler and Dyer have been, it’s so nice that the stench of the self absorbed project management and bullshit bingo has finally lifted. Respect to the current Board f...

Re: Ex-Cards News (May '19 onwards)

I'd 100% have him back. He looked great for his age, showed a bit of versatility covering at LB (where if Casey had been injured we'd have had either Diarra or Spence this year?!) One of the few highlights of Limbrick's reign was players like Appau and Stoj looking as good as their peers. Appau’s a...

Re: Early Bird Season Ticket Offer

I’d imagine the match day price is going to go up a lot, ensuring we maximise the income from travelling supporters who are used to paying at least £18.

Anyone who intends to attend more than ten of our games would be mad not to buy a season ticket IMO.

Only really scored goals from crosses (from Caprice) though. We aren’t really that sort of side these days, so I can’t see it working TBH.

Re: Joey

For what it's worth Joey is better than Poku. You only need to look at how many more games Joey has played at a higher level. If you don't trust the judgement of all the managers which have signed/kept Joey and all those who've never given Poku a regular chance higher than NLS then that's up to you...

No agenda. After what I've been through I don't have the energy, PAL. I love that we won today. I've supported our club for over 30 years. But I'm not going to be happy clappy just because. Really? So I post some praise of Dowse and you see it as me being negative about the board? You think that’s ...

From what you say, our board is shit. It's all Dowse.
Not sure how you got to that. The board appointed him and have given him the platform that got us promoted, but you continue with your twisted and negative agenda pal.

Dowse

I appreciate the style of play hasn’t always been ideal, I also appreciate that we’ve had a ludicrous number of players this season - BUT: He’s got us promoted at the first try. Was anyone expecting that when he was announced? He’s been responsible for a cup run that might have resulted in the club ...

Re: Match Thread H Vs Welling Utd PO Final

God that was terrible...Dowse has his work cut out for a competitive side next season. COYC Quit being so miserable, christ. We’ve just been promoted, we were almost perfectly defensively (apart from when they hit the post) and we should have had more than one. We’ll be fine next season, enjoy the ...

The worst thing about this property development fantasy is that no one will invest in the club while it’s being played out.
You think, other than long standing fans like PJ or CI, that someone would otherwise?

Re: Matchday Information / Parking

Is it really that difficult to stay off the pitch? I remember the game away to Maidenhead, when we last won promotion, watching chubby Woking fans squelching over the barrier to waddle over to our players, sweating more than them. It was an embarrassment.

Armani’s free kicks are something special though (only one of them made it into 3rd place for me). Quite something, especially as my view of him at Hemel away was “looks ok - runs a lot, but lacks quality on the ball and isn’t a goal threat”.
