Re: Club shop

If you were going to do a stall you would probably be better off taking it round all the fetes, fairs, and festivals over the summer flogging merchandise and pushing season tickets and general awareness. But I’m not volunteering to staff it, would anyone else? Maybe RGC could, if we can keep him off...

Re: Keep or cull?

Lot of fans seem determined to dump Will. Who do you intend to replace him with? If you want a keeper who can make the saves, dominate the area, and is happy to bring the ball out like Doyle seems to like how much are you going to pay - because keepers who can do everything don’t need to bum around ...

Re: 20 seats on the CLT

Does anyone really expect "decent" food or beer at football, especially as an away fan?! It's a burger/hot dog etc... and whatever beer is available. I think Oldham last season was just lager poured out of a can. It's fine. I think the problem is we don't even offer the basics. Below was from a Sou...

How would they get there?
Through the middle concourse of the LGS is the only way and they enter through the normal away entrance
Wouldn’t you have to go up and then down again? It’s slow enough getting out of the LGS!

Watching the highlights it’s no accident that Tunji was in place to score those goals. Good set piece work by Cuthbert and Turner I believe?
Not so good set piece work was Luker’s free kick. Not sure I could get that elevation if I tried!

Move those seats, the porter cabin bogs and tea bar down the other end of the terrace and you could give home fans half the CLT too.
How would they get there?

Also bin that "Free From Desire" dirge.
"Rhys Browne's on the treatment table" doesn't scan anyway.
I’m not a huge fan but dirge?! The kids make it a very lively dirge!

This must have been what crooked Tommy Widdrington was on about in his post match interview yesterday, sorry Tommy but you've fallen short.

Re: 20 seats on the CLT

Chucking smoke bombs, lighters and vapes isn’t exactly unknown from our more boisterous types. “It doesn’t happen very often” won’t go down well when explaining how an away fan got something bounced off their head. Could just be childish stuff like chucking chips. It’s not like the LGS was full yes...

Re: 20 seats on the CLT

If you allow migration then you need to stop our boisterous types dropping stuff on top of the away fans in that area. It’s a fair way down. Probably be a risk that they might push up against the barrier to goad away fans and it presumably isn’t designed for that. Don’t think shrugging and saying “...

Boreham Wood's season just shows how tough this division is. Clearly a very healthy budget, strong experienced squad, very good and popular manager, and they still went down.

Just occurred to me that our generosity to York last week kept them up and binned off Boringwood.

Re: Attendances

There is no problem with the reserved seats in the LGS, the problem arises on games where migration is allowed. I have a ticket for Moaners, sometimes I fancy a sit down and pick one of the non reserved seats in the LGS. So far so good, but then someone on line or at the gate might well have bought...

Keep the Elvis, it’s great - gives a bit of noise at kick off, and seems very popular from how many join in. I assume AAJ is already gone as he wasn’t on the bench and some other bloke did the warm up. Otherwise can’t argue with comments on the players really, but it’s very hard to say much when I h...

Timi was imperious today, can we sign him please?
Can’t want to go back to Bradford, and his reaction to winning suggests he is invested here (and kids in Woking strips with ‘Daddy’ on the back is a nice touch).

Re: Updated run ins

Please remind me about the crucial game that turned into a 3-0 walk in the park at Yeovil that kept us up one year. I don’t think it could have been the final game as we went straight to a Woking pub after where we waited for other teams’ results? It was the good old days where you could be drinking...

Re: Updated run ins

I’m thinking a team who need to win for better play off placing aren’t going to be winning 3-0. They will want to hold a win, and not get knackered/injured, so would hold at 2-0, and with the relegation threatened team only needing to avoid a thrashing the game is likely to peter out into a 1-0 or 2...

Who is your chosen hero?

Hypothetically if we needed a last minute* winner to stay up you might not care if it’s an og off their defender’s arse but who would you prefer? I would have to say Cuthbert to put a cherry on a clear player of the season year. Other options being Pavey just to see how mental he would go, or a towe...
