Re: Next Season Expectation.

I wouldn’t have thought that Farnborough is a fore gone conclusion. I know that it ticks all the boxes for League criteria, but it’s a total pain in the arse to get to. Most people in Woking work in or towards the smoke, it’s tricky getting to Kingfield on a Tuesday night let alone all the way out t...

Re: Next Season Expectation.

Walton would be great, but highly unlikely as the Athletics club and both the Walton clubs share it and it now appears that EBC now could face pulling the whole place down as the original planning permission was unlawful.

Met Police would be a good option.

Re: New Kit

Cheers TWR, the shirts archive is on my Facebook page at the moment and I occasionally post them on my Cardinal Tales Twitter, but I was toying with the idea of starting a Cardinal Tales Facebook at some stage and put them on there, amongst old photos, memorabilia and stories from the Cardinal Tales...

Re: New Kit

This style but with white on the 'correct side' like the most reason Kappa kit, that would be lovely! I’m currently building up a graphic archive cataloguing Woking shirts from 1887 to present day (yeah I know, get a life). There actually isn’t a “correct side”, it’s chopped and changed over the ye...

Re: Interesting

Who knew theyve been paying 25k a year for rent on their ground? Makes you realise how lucky we have been. A former ATFC clubman that I know told me a figure a while back what they pay their Council in rent and it was a fair bit more than 25k, so it’s been reduced. No wonder the town of Aldershot i...

Dreadful, dreadful news, puts a lot of things into perspective.

A lovely guy, here he is with Colin Lippiatt in the LGS when he was our caretaker manager in 2008.

I didn’t realise it was part of the criteria that we had to count our own supplied tickets, but no worries, I understand that this is all a bit difficult for you to grasp.

Re: Aldershot

On the day in question, a steward asked me if I had a prepaid ticket, I said yes and he waved me through an open gate. Ticket never left my wallet. Not sure what difference a "stub" would have made to this scenario.... Still whatever you want to believe. You’re correct, seeing as the stubs were lan...

If it’s all ticket for away fans, let’s hope their office staff don’t rip both the stubs off this time before dishing them out - f*cking idiots.

I can’t wait to see more 17 year old inbreeds causing trouble at the station, roaming around the town pointing at the tops of the tall buildings and shops that are actually open whilst wearing surgical masks and shouting random acronyms at passers by.

I have fond memories of the dandy Steve King looking rather dapper at our gaff once dressed all in black, he looked like a cross between the Milk Tray Man and Warwick Davis.

Re: Early Bird Season Ticket Offer

I’ve only just got around to ordering mine, I’ve got to say how easy it is to do by logging on to the club’s online ticketing system. Really impressed with how simple it’s been to get hold of tickets for both play offs and the season tickets.

Oldschool Non-League all changed with the spawning of hobby clubs like Rushed Out and Sign'em, start again nothing to see here Phoenix clubs and the likes of Funny Donny polluting the pyramid with money they haven't got. I don't think we'll ever see the likes of it again, as there's always some nutt...

No, they’re implying that Searle has told Braintree one thing and Derby had done another on the paperwork, which Braintree hadn’t followed through correctly. Piss poor and sloppy of Braintree tbh, I don’t think it’s the first time they’ve done it either.

Just seen that Braintree have been deducted 3 points for fielding an eligible player which means that Havant and Waterlooville would stay up.
And Braintree seem to be pushing their former manager Danny Searle (the now Aldershot manager) under the bus for doing it.
