Re: Dowse’s Friday update

How about "I'm doing a bloody good here and perhaps fans should get behind me and give me the credit i deserve!" THIS THIS THIS!!! We’re not hearing anything but good from this fella and frankly even done in good heart, this thread is a bit of a poor show. I’m all for talking crap on here and real-...

Re: WFCTV | Woking 0-2 Watford | FA Cup 3rd Round | Behind the Scenes

At the risk of hyperbole (which I never usually do) that was honestly like watching one of those classic FIFA World Cup movies (shoehorned between some eighties tunes obvs). Brilliantly done and gave some of the earthier tones of Kingfield a bit of a showing. Genuinely that’ll be a WFC memory for me...

Decent option, but he was never the quickest. Without Loza we will lack real pace.
I’d like to think that our former player of the season in our ConfProper days would be a better than “pretty decent” tbh. Pace or class? I’d take the scummer*

Re: Torquay

Hi all, Torquay fan in peace! Quite interesting reading through this thread and seeing various comments towards us. I am confident we will drop points soon, in our next 5 games we have Bath, Welling and Chelmsford (notable mention to Oxford City who won't be a walk in the park either). We've seemed...

Re: Watford

This thread is utterly classic Cardsboard...Premier League side graces Woking but they didn’t bring Lionel Messi and Ronaldo! Symptomatic of the meh nature some found in the draw in the first place, yes it’s a big side just not a BLOODY BIG side, as though our Sixth Division triers somehow DESERVED ...

I’m not sure we could match the excitement gained from naked “artistic” shots of Justin Richards again!!

Re: Are we now allowed a Watford thread?

We Woking fans will always have hope because of the West Brom Win, Swansea, Coventry and Brighton draws and many many brave defeats. West Brom was fun because they were fragile and Woking got at them. Watford are a tad better and this Woking side not as good. As has been said above our best hope is ...

Re: What's Your New Year Wish?

To finally see the design for the Stadium re-development and find out that they are doing it one side/end at a time so we don't have to ground share while they build... Blimey, that’s a big wish since WFC/WBC can’t do it without HUGE MONEY, but happily it combines with my aim to win the Euromillion...

Re: Flatter than a flat thing that’s been squashed

In my experience, and I change ends at every game, fans who are making some noise under a roof - whether home or away - imagine it to be (sometimes much) louder than it is because it sounds loud to them. I've been at games where both home and away fans claim to have totally dominated the 'noise con...

Re: Aldershot

I find it amazing that they are still defending that defeat on shotsweb. If we lost 7-0 to a team 2 leagues below us with any team then I’d be embarrassed. Really does go to show how great our youth team is given how many former Woking youth players we have in our squad. Bedford are three levels be...

Re: Aldershot

You do have to admire the Alderpop fans sometimes. They are a VERY loyal bunch who properly support their club with flags and that. They stump up money to bale out the club from one week to the next, buy the Chairman a nice seat on the Board, and I always thought of them as a Proper old school one-t...

Re: Wassmer

That is a strange one.
A player coming back from injury going to train and play on an artificial pitch in the league above his parent club, while he’s finding fitness?
Or is Gerring now such a fixture, considered so good, that he can keep the best player in the world out of the team?

Hmm.
