Re: Luer

Had a decent season, always gave his all for the team even when played out of position, showed his finishing quality when finally getting a run in his strongest position and with tactics to suit his style of play. Thanks Greg and good luck, VNS is probably the right level, a sussex lad so a decent m...

Re: Manny Parry signs

From what I've seen Dowse seems to place a lot of emphasis on togetherness, team ethic, long-term loyalty (both ways) - seems like the circumstances of Loza's departure after Watford broke that bond - clearly good enough to add value the question is whether Dowse (and perhaps team mates) feel the ne...

Re: Next Season Expectation.

Grade A ground is more than just seating capacity, number of turnstiles, segregation, refreshments outlets, toilets, size of dressing rooms, set number of directors box seats, number of radio and newspaper press seats, medical facilities, PA systems, distance between edge of pitch and perimeter fenc...

Amply evidenced by Castor Semenya's dominance in the mixed middle distance running events

Re: Dave Tarpey

Good to see Tarpey taking the pee out of Hodgie on social media following Paul's contract announcement, seems to be a good camaraderie amongst the group, something we will need, alluding to diving and getting a pile of free goals from 12 yards

Sam howes my bet from Watford on loan.. Was at Eastbourne Borough last season and also had a spell at Hampton and Richmond... Dowse connections 😊 If correct won't be a loan, released by Watford - England youth international at multiple age groups, Euro U17 championship winner. Dowse was involved in...

I reckon we will play with at least one goalkeeper, between 3 and 5 defenders, between 3 and 5 midfielders and between 1 and 3 forwards.
Can we go for the 1 GK, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards option

Surprised he didn’t wait a bit longer to see if a League Two team was interested.
Does that suggest the £ offer was unlikely to be bettered or that perhaps there is an onward route to Johnson Junior if things work out well?

Baxter is highly thought of at Chelsea, loaned to Yeovil in L2 last year, reckon they will be looking for another L1/2 loan for him this coming year

Re: Formation(s) for upcoming season

Agree, I'm sure the management have Plan A and B approaches they would like to pursue and have identified player recruitment targets to maximise their ability to bring those strategies to fruition, but if all they manage to attract are heads on sticks and long-throw specialists then Kinnear ball it ...

Re: Transfer Update

Agree about combined injury risk of hyde and tarpey based on recent records but perhaps hyde will be pay per game etc to mitigate the downside risk? Promising start and with couple of FL recruits that can't yet be named also in the bag too. Let's just wait and see what additions the next few weeks a...

Re: Transfer Update

Not surprised on the Jolley news either. I am sure Dowse said towards the end of the season that he probably wouldn't play again, but the fact that he is staying on in some capacity is good news Is a care worker by profession and taking physio course at moment as well, seen as a bridge between play...
