Re: Armani Little

Armani surely has to be in the mix for the worst named player we've ever had? Certainly in my time. Sure Doylie and others have some good ones they can throw in.

Sheringham back from a spell in the Bangladeshi league!? That well known hotbed of footballing talent! And who said money doesn’t motivate footballers?

Re: Expectations

I really don't think any of the squad are bad players for this level. They are simply learning to play together still and have a manager that is still learning how to fit them all together. That will come in good time. Keeper wise - Berti has looked a bit flappy, but hasn't let in any howlers - he's...

He can chop Spence If he likes
Spence helped make both the goals against St Albans with his crosses and he has decent pedigree with 100+ games for Sutton. He'll be out for at least one game now so be interested to see if we look any better with Collier at RB.

Re: WFC TV: Wealdstone 1 - 0 Woking (Interviews)

We've got pretty lucky over the last three games - all three teams will probably feel they should have got something - and last night was the reality check that's been coming to us. I still think Dowse needs to work out his best team and his best formation in order to get some consistency. It's goin...

Re: Wealdstone (A) Match Thread

Just seen that Wealdstone have a chap called Mambo playing for them. Why on earth does he not have the number 5 shirt. Because this league doesn't do squad numbers and he was on the bench tonight. There was a whole story about him getting it at Ebbsfleet and then he retired due to injury. Came back...

Re: Team for tonight

I'd probably drop a third into midfield as it's a more challenging game on paper and we're away. Something like... Berti; Spence, Cook, Gayle, Casey; Collier, Ferdinand, Appau; Kretzschmar, Hodges, Hyde Subs: Mason, Khinda-John, Fabio, Young, DOA I'd give Jolley a rest. Don't think Luer has been goo...

Re: WFC TV: Woking 3 - 2 Oxford City (Dowse Interview)

Don’t want to be the grumpy cynic but my enthusiasm is tempered by how similar this all sounds to last season. Limbrick was the fresh new style and that helped him create a personality cult that kept him in a job much longer than would have been normal. It’s looking promising but it’s still early d...

Re: Just back from match

Agree with the person in the other thread who said having Collier in there made a difference. 3 games in a week probably too much for Jolley. Don't forget though we have Appau and CHC waiting in the wings and defenders to come back and free up Collier so I'm not too concerned. Jolley and Ferdinand a...

Re: Oxford City - Match Thread

Thought their player who was sent off first was a knob of the highest order Reckless challenge, free kick , yellow card ...take it A few people in the Family Stand wound him up and then he lost the plot with the ref, ha, ha loser Ben Jefford was on loan for us for a few games a couple of years back...

Re: Oxford City - Match Thread

Definitely need another CM, only replacement is Appau so we are lacking there. Think Casey could work well in CM but then would need a new LB. Also, what’s happening with DOA? Not on the bench today... DOA had an injury in pre-season which is why he's been out. He was warming up today but apart fro...

No, just the two, number 3 (Jefford) and number 5 (Ruddick) - VNS website is wrong.

Re: Oxford City - Match Thread

1-1 h/t - scoreline flatters us a bit to be honest. Been quite impressed with Oxford. They look solid at the back, as expected, but have carried a threat going forward too. Lots of long balls forward to Hyde from us and not enough support around him. Reggie barely had a sniff. Kane Ferdinand is a bi...

No Cook, Wassmer or DOA in the squad but all three warming up and involved in the pre-match stuff. Hopefully see them back Monday.
