Re: Match Thread A vs Chesterfield VNL

I read that as 4-2-3-1. Ross Cook, Parry, Gerring, Casey Donnellan, Ferdinand Tarpey, Edser, Johnson Meite Be interesting to see what it is in reality. That's the most attacking team we've named so far this season. Quite excited about the prospect of Tarps, Meite and Johnson rotating the front three...

That's one way of getting Max into the team

according to the preview he has a slight injury, although I am not sure that is the reason he was left out of the squad on Saturday
It was. Tight groin I believe Dowse said after the game on Saturday.

Re: Joe Felix joins the Cards

Do we know if Joe's been training with us as a free agent since the season started? Certainly since the weekend. He was in the pictures from the game against Harrogate. Unless he went to trial elsewhere in the 10 days between the end of pre-season and that game I imagine he probably has been with u...

Re: Joe Felix joins the Cards

Can someone remind me what non-contract is? Does this mean if some other club comes in for him with the offer of a contract, he is a free agent and can leave? I believe it means that another club can make a seven-day approach for him and that it's then up to him whether he stays or goes. It's how w...

Re: Match Thread A vs Farnboro PSF

Dowse said in his interview on Thursday that the friendly with Watford came together last minute and that whilst he wouldn't go as far as to cancel the game with Farnborough, so as not to let them down, it would probably be a makeshift side that played. Games with PL teams don't come along every day...

Jason Goodliffe has become Sutton's assistant manager. Don't much fancy their chances this season.

Re: Ex-Cards News (May '19 onwards)

that's a good point about cook, thought it was a done deal that he was signing on for next season. Really hope we do get him back!! Dowse said the contract was ready, probably means he will be announced next week Cook has an agreement with the club. Just needs to come in to sign the paperwork and d...

Re: Ex-Cards News (May '19 onwards)

I seem to remember Leyton Orient didn't think much of Caprice either. But ever since that game when we stuck 4 past Tranmere they'd wanted Caprice and now he's done the business for them. Good luck to the lad.

Re: Ex-Cards News (May '19 onwards)

Nathan Ralph linked with a move to Hull or Barnsley https://twitter.com/TheFLZone/status/1130837885442297856 Incredible how you can have one season in Scotland after getting relegated from the National League and suddenly be perceived as a potential Championship player. I liked him when we played f...

Wonder when we’ll start to announce new signings! This time last year we’d already signed A few
Just the one I think, Nathan Collier. Noticed it was mentioned on the 'On This Day' bit of the website a couple of days ago.

Was he the left winger he came on? The one that jack cook absolutely dominated? The one who kept stumbling every time he got the ball? Looked a poor mans eyoma to me!!!
That's different opinions for you. Thought he was their most threatening player after he came on.

Re: Ex-Cards News (May '19 onwards)

Sam and Lazar would be a great start to the hunt for security next season but please keep Kane. Speaking of security next season, Team of the Season winger Nassim L'Ghoul has announced he's leaving Welling on Twitter today. If we'd lost the final 1-0 and a key player had left within the week, this ...
