Re: Next Season Expectation.

As MattA inferred earlier why just not build a 7,000 capacity stadium in Sheerwater and then there is no need to return to Kingfield. We can play there until it’s completed so no need to groundshare. The developers can then develop the whole of Kingfield. It’s sooooo simple I’m surprised nobody’s th...

Re: Next Season Expectation.

Comparing it to Exeter rugby or cricket where everyone sits down and doesn’t bounce around is just foolish. You don’t get temporary standing stands they are always seated stands. Can you image trying to erect 3 x a thousand seat stands at Westfield? Because that is what you would need to do. Let al...

Re: Next Season Expectation.

I’m sorry to say Adrian but you are the foolish one here. Firstly have you been to Westfield’s ground recently? If you have then you would be aware of the lay out. The cost in ‘temporarily’ upgrading the ground to meet National League grading would be in the hundreds of thousand pounds. It’s not ju...

Re: Next Season Expectation.

As I don’t watch any of that egg chasing nonsense so I haven’t. You really think Old Traffic cricket ground (original capacity c.20,000) is comparable to Westfield? I didn’t think so. It’s actually less than a quarter of the attendance in temporary stands but facts don’t seem to be your strong poin...

Can you imagine if we had a Bristol Rovers or Torquay sized away following at Westfield?

It’s probably up there with the worst suggestions on this forum alongside people saying Joey Jones wasn’t shit.
At least somebody on here has some sense.

Re: Next Season Expectation.

All the grounds mentioned do not meet the ground criteria to play in the National League especially Egham and to even mention Westfield is farcical.

Re: AGM Lottery

I would prefer the league composition to be decided on footballing merit, that said, there are rules to abide by which it seems Gateshead have breached. Shame for Gateshead, and their supporters - hopefully they can get control of the club and return one day. As KE mentioned above, the Aldershot ga...

Dreadful, dreadful news, puts a lot of things into perspective. A lovely guy, here he is with Colin Lippiatt in the LGS when he was our caretaker manager in 2008. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D8kJhQsWsAYMcBr?format=jpg&name=medium It’s horrible that both the lovely men in that photo are no longer wi...

44 in total. Not as many as usual but I made a decision several years ago I would plan to miss the odd match. Unfortunately two of my misses were due to unfortunate fixture changes.

36 NLS
2 NLS play off matches
3 FA Cup
2 FA Trophy

This is a snippet from WFC’s website for 12th August 2015. At 2pm on Tuesday we set up a Crowdfunding site to fundraise for Scott Rendell’s medical and club costs following his unfortunate injury last week. It is to enable Scott to have peace of mind, get the best possible treatment and for the club...

Re: Snake

I’m not sure signing a player on his way down and made of biscuits is a particularly good signing. I certainly wouldn’t want him at Woking. Our newly signed striker signed for us from Barnet and has recently missed a lot of football due to injury - but I’m assuming you’re talking about Scott Rendel...

Re: Armani Little joins Torquay

Think about it. In 1992-93 there was not a single ex league club in the division as far as I can recall. For the sake of being pedantic and the fact I’m bored strictly speaking there were two ex League clubs in the 92/93 Conference League, Northwich Victoria and Stalybridge Celtic. Admittedly it wa...

Can we go for the 1 GK, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards option

To be fair Johnson clocked Armanis quality in the 3 games against us & detailed his brother with the task of ' get Armani Little signed up pronto '.
