Re: Today's Surrey Advertiser

Even if we only sell 100 season tickets, there's no guarantee those people will be able to go to every game. What if there's a spike mid-season? I still think the Debenture model has some legs, and I hope the club are looking into it. This would involve supporters buying a ticket which covers the ne...

Re: An Update from Nick Davidson, Woking FC COVID-19 Officer

All good points CC- but have we considered that a lot more away fans are likely to pay £10 for a stream than would attend in person? We might get 300 home fans streaming each match but we could get the same number of away fans!

Sadly, this will run and run until the truth comes out and they will have to at some point.
Nope, we'll all forget about it in a few weeks. If the club did cash in the sell-on clause they're not exactly going to admit it.

Re: Transfer Speculation

That's a polite way of saying we don't have a 15% sell on clause.

Bollocks.

Re: An Update from Nick Davidson, Woking FC COVID-19 Officer

I hope the fixture calculator puts the key games (vs Stevenage, Aldershot ect) near the end of the season when more of us are likely to be able to attend.

Re: Season Start and Season Ticket Update

Which OP? I’m either blind or looking in the wrong place. If that’s so then should be able to fit in quite a few more. Sorry, not the OP. This link. https://sgsa.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/SG02-Planning-for-social-distancing-at-sports-grounds.pdf The calculations mentioned already assume tha...

Re: Season Start and Season Ticket Update

“ Bubble is irrelevant and a family of 4 take 4 spaces” Surely they don’t expect the family to sit apart? With booked seats you can get more people in by letting the families sit in a bunch with spacing around them. Personally I’m not convinced why you can’t have people sat next to each other anywa...

Re: Season Start and Season Ticket Update

How about a limited number of 'Debenture' tickets, which might be the only way to guarantee access to every game for, say, the next 3 years. You might limit these to 2/300 and charge £1000+. If we need money upfront to sign players (do we?) then this would solve any cashflow issue. As usual with deb...

Re: Season Start and Season Ticket Update

What about bubbles? If all spectators in the LGS are STs in designated seats presumably you can fit a lot more in by grouping households together? You could do this on the terraces too but it’s going to need a lot of painted lines and numbers! The guidance above already assumes households / bubbles...

Re: Season Start and Season Ticket Update

What about no season tickets at all? Sell each games tickets online a week or two in advance, giving flexibility in case rules change suddenly. Fans could buy a membership card for, say, £20 which gives them access to an early booking window so more likely to get tickets for each match, but no guara...

Re: Season Start and Season Ticket Update

For anyone interested, you can read the SGSA's (draft) "Planning for social distancing at sports grounds" guidance here . I presume the National league will expect all clubs to conform to this, which will drive any reduction in capacity. The guide assumes that the government guidance is to remain 1m...

Re: Cards card

I don't think this is aimed at those who already pay by card. Topping up your Cards card in the shop with your visa card won't help anyone, as the club still pay the card fee on that transaction. I think it's aimed at those who would otherwise pay with cash. If the club went contactless-only (as man...

Re: Welcome to phpBB Cardsboard

Yup. I assumed it was something to do with the fact on this board it "logs you in automatically on each visit" rather than keeps you logged in all the time. And when It trys to log me in on one when im already logged in on the other it can't. But I dont know. Not the end of the world if it can't be ...

Is there any way to be always logged in on my phone and computer? Atm if I log onto one it logs me out of the other, I used to be able to be logged into both simultaneously
