Re: From Woking Community Stadium Facebook Page

If a billionaire popped up in the WN&M and said "I'm going to give Woking all my money", the club would say something like "we agree that we'd really like a lot of money, and conversations are ongoing." I think the question to ask is 'why would the club turn this down?' Well the developer said the ...

From Woking Community Stadium Facebook Page

Goldev has announced this week its intention to hand the shares for Woking FC back to the club. The Council has first refusal on the shares but should it decide not to take up the option, the shares will be gifted back to the club via a Trust administered by the appointed Directors of the Woking Foo...

Bold claim, did you see him play a few times to come to this conclusion?

He has an interesting record.
Yes.

HopIng for a few more observations than yes!

Is he an out and out front man?

Or would he play off the main striker?

Best player in non league football by far, I did mention him to Geoff before Christmas but he's a league/championship player if he wants it bad enough.

Re: League 2 North and South?

I think your missing my point - yes things move on in football but not always for the better and from my view going to regionalised leagues is taking something away. OK I don’t understand why it would if we retained the level we play at and Obtained Football League Status. I love a Northern Awayday...

Re: League 2 North and South?

So if an opportunity arises for our club to be part of a newly reorganised Football League you don’t think we should grab it with both hands? Based on a very strange belief that a Tuesday night visit to Chesterfield is “Part of Football”!!! Times change, you’ll be saying we should go back to 2 poin...

Re: League 2 North and South?

Why would anyone want this? It's part of football - the away trips up north etc So what if Chesterfield away was on a Tuesday night. Getting back at 2am after that win made it even more special. So if an opportunity arises for our club to be part of a newly reorganised Football League you don’t thi...

The parachute payment they receive alone would be higher than the Woking wage bill...
Absolutely, I be livid if we wasted that much on players.

These Parachute payments have been proven to be very good at helping clubs to get back in the Football League.........

He was a class act played for a number of clubs, Sutton, Kingston, Walton, Carshalron etc

Had a very interesting habit of repeatedly clearing mud from his studs and tapping the post hard with the soul of his boot then starting the process again.

Driver costs are a lot less, Two drivers are needed for many off the longer coach trips. Train trips are costly and require a coach in a number of instances from the mainline station to the ground. About time this was sorted out, simple common sense. Dover v Barrow and Barrow V Dover, two fixtures that took place on a Tuesday night this season, ridiculous. Re: Who do we keep?

I’m just gonna be happy just to keep as many of the faces, known or unknown that I see around the ground on a match day.

Let’s get the more important shit out of the way, then worry about who’s going to stay.

A slightly unedifying thread I think.

Be careful folks.
