Re: Hampton and Richmond (Away)

don't get why it's all ticket, we aren't going to fill their ground... Their decision not to do the same with Torquay could be an interesting one. Quite frankly it's a ridiculous decision to make a nothing game in tier 6 all ticket. It'll catch quite a few out on the day too. Woking don’t play noth...

They are that desperate, Chris Arthur has signed a pay as you play deal.

The desperate are now depending on the Totally Inept!!
When Arthur 'plays'? I believe that's what's commonly referred to as a 'zero hours contract'.
Not in Footballing Terms.

Re: Wassmer

The two centre backs have done very well and are a good pairing I see no reason to split them up.

Maidstone have signed Jake Robinson from Billericay today so perhaps this is more of a trial until January.......

Re: Wassmer

Interesting, loaning a player to a team in a higher league than ourselves.

I remember us signing Darren Hay from Cambridge Utd after a successful loan period only for him to go back on loan to them for a short while before he returned to Kingfield, very strange as is this situation with Wassmer!!

Great player, put’s in a shift on the park, captains the team and still finds time to act as an on field Referees Assistant.

Well deserved sir!!

Re: Banton to Dulwich Hamlet

I must get in touch with his agent, my last performance for RNLI Selsey against a Woking Supporters XI some 10 years is still spoken very highly of in the Lifeboat Inn down here

Surely a contract at National League South level is still within my grasp?

Re: Cardsboard is a stressed place

Back in 91 most of the players had no real contracts, some played for buttons. Their Captain correctly asked questions on behalf of the team, that some found difficult. They were right to ask those questions and were remunerated according. Money well spent IMO. After all, those that were there all k...

Hear Hear Stoo. That Rag is the enemy of the people. The, proven, lies it spread about the DEATHS of 96 of our fellow football supporters show it has no place at our or any football ground. So for the board members that read postings on her I beg you, don’t sell our soul and reputation to this dread...

I’d reckon that was as big as WBA.

We have a brand new team and manager and whole new generation of young followers these are their memories and good times that will get them hooked as it has done to my generation.

All wins are good, but yesterday was very special!

We fall into a interesting BBC void.

BBC South will give Aldershit scores and highlights also Guildford Flames highlights, but nothing about Woking.

BBC London doesn’t even know there is a town called Woking!!!

And don’t get me started on the lack of Radio coverage on match day BBC Surrey gives!!!

Re: According to MOTD

Spot on mr growler , I listened to bbc Wiltshire and the commentators were pretty fair in their commentary especially singling out the two centre backs and saying overall no one could begrudge our victory No, they were pretty fair when they realised we weren’t the push over they thought we’d be. Dreadful dreary duo from BBC Wiltshire.

Their obvious lack of any homework on their beloved Swindon’s opponents makes them sound extremely ignorant as well as stupid.
