If you go to their website they have a write up of the meeting along with action plan of sorts. Nothing surprising really.

Re: This Saturday .....

We have the same stewards at Westfield Avenue turnstiles every week. They let us in with bottles of water without taking the lid off. The only issue they had was when I brought in a Bay City Rollers LP for someone a couple of weeks ago, that was nearly conviscated but not for safety reasons...!!!

Re: Garry Hill return

The days of fawning over Garry Hill are over, we all appreciate his time with us, maybe not so towards the end. He's coming here to get 3 points and will love it if he does. We can't let that happen. These are the type of games where we are likely to get mugged.

Re: Triple Header on 7th September

Double for me. Billingham Synthonia v Willington at 3.00 then the shortest trip of the season to watch Woking (14 miles). It's a great shame that Billingham Sythonia's fantastic ground is no more. One of the great moments of watching WFC was watching Kevan Brown score a screamer to win a FA Trophy ...

I think you're being a bit mean on the pies - League 2? No, 1 at least!

Re: Hap-Pie Days Are Here Again!

Sausage and mash price has to come down a bit. Tried a chicken pie last night - stuffed with huge chunks of breast meat - they are well worth the £6 with mash and gravy. Sausages are not in the same league.

Re: Pies!

In all seriousness, down in Chichester we have a company called Turner's Pies. They win all the awards in the country for their pies and they do a huge range. They do supply wholesale I believe - Google them. They supply Harrods but don't let that put you off, they aren't that pricey. Do they do ba...

Re: Pies!

Balti has no place encased in a pie crust. The food rules clearly state this. Decent and the key word is decent pies will definitely sell. It’ll be all about were you source them from, microwaved Pukka pies for example won’t cut it. Maidstone United did pie and peas for about £4.50ish. Sold loads a...

Re: Pies!

Don't over-think this pie thing. They don't need to be luxury - just good with variety of fillings. Not Pukka muck either. Get the price point right and they'll sell out every game. We've been wanting this for years.

Re: Pies!

£5 for just the pie is too much. Fylde did pie and mushy peas for £4.25. Not saying we want to price down to that level but it needs to be 'pie and something' for £5 and I'm sure a huge can of mushy peas at the cash and carry is a nominal amount. Most of the northern clubs do this well. Of course yo...

He started off with us reasonably OK but then, er, wasn't. In fact we did not miss him at all did we?
We certainly "missed" him when he came back a few weeks later to score against us for Welling in a draw that pretty much caused us to miss out on the playoffs.
That was a fluke! :)

Would you want him here next season?
Maybe 3-4 years ago. i.e when we actually had him on loan. He’s probably a bit past it now.
