I remember that and the Emergency chopper landing in the field behind the goal
That was poor Harry Pullen. Always remember that day.

He says “thanks very much Nick” and could you stick a few ‘Effs’ into the linesman for him today 😂.
Would gladly love to but the boiler broke down again. No not the wife. The heating one!

Re: Woking Borough Council Sports Personality 2019

Surely dowse should be in with a chance. He's brought WFC back into the community and the constant fundraising and willingness to go the extra miles is surely worth recognition. I absolutely agree - it should be Dowse who is nominated and thats not taking anything away from Josh... He's the one goi...

Re: Before the game

As Adrian has said we had some interaction with them after we parked our car. One American/Canadian lady very aggressive. We have since had dealings with someone else involved with SWAG who was upset at the way their representatives dealt with the Woking fans yesterday and apologised. I note there i...

Re: FA Cup

Not that it's going to happen but away trips to the following teams would be an interesting tie or just a good day out: 2 Lowestoft Town 5 Bristol Manor Farm 8 Tavistock 9 Maldon & Tiptree v Chertsey Town 11 Salisbury 12 Abbey Rangers 13 Kings Langley 14 Ware 16 Royston Town 17 Poole Town 18 Hadley...

Re: Who are the regulars here who are 'Exiles'

As most know, Selsey, West Sussex is where Adie and I currently reside and have done for nearly 19 years. Prior to that I was born and bred in Westfield in the rural part bordering Sutton Green and before we moved to Selsey we lived in Old School Place so had a 5 minute walk to home games. We still ...

Re: Yeovil away - Next Tuesday

Looking forward to a return to Yeovil next Tuesday, bit of a soft spot for them as back in the 90s when my dad was quite ill, they always sorted parking close to the entrance etc. so he didn’t have far to walk and we’re such nice people.

Re: Black September 2

If anyone still feels bad about our situation (why?) then just hop across and have some lunchtime reading of the Aldershot forum. That could be us, then you'd have something to moan about.

Some of the guff coming from moaners Saturday was really bad
And someone having a go at Dowse - was told it was one of the player's dad, if so totally out of order... There are some right pricks about at the moment

Re: Today at Bromley

Was it Slough Town with a good bar, sectioned off from the rest of the terracing but you stood outside within sight of the pitch - therefore totally flaunting the ruling?

He started off with us reasonably OK but then, er, wasn't. In fact we did not miss him at all did we?
We certainly "missed" him when he came back a few weeks later to score against us for Welling in a draw that pretty much caused us to miss out on the playoffs.
That was a fluke! :)

Would you want him here next season?
Maybe 3-4 years ago. i.e when we actually had him on loan. He’s probably a bit past it now.
