Re: From Woking Community Stadium Facebook Page

SWAG have never been supporters of the club. The only thing they are interested in is their very own view from their ivory tower and a hatred of all supporters. Why would they organise and encourage people to block the legal street parking places to inconvenience fans, produce lying propaganda leafl...

Re: When could/ should the new season start?

Depending on if capacity was limited and by how much, you could keep it to season ticket holders only. This would then give the club a minimum amount of money to play with for the season before on the day are finally allowed in and increase the purse. Perhaps you then have to book your attendance on...

Re: When could/ should the new season start?

The season will start once paying spectators are allowed into grounds to watch matches. As KT15 Card states non league can't afford to pay behind closed doors unless the FA/League pays them to do so. And the FA won’t do that as it’s money they could keep in their own pocket. Or pay off another Chie...

Re: League Two clubs vote to end season, but League One teams fail to decide

It’s interesting that lots of teams that are near the bottom and risk relegation are pointing towards their recent run of X games where they have done quite well. Form for those few games was good and say should reflect more of their season towards weighted PPG. Why? The obvious reason is they are l...

Re: League Two clubs vote to end season, but League One teams fail to decide

It’s not a matter of having loads of money from a parachute payment. It’s about the management that have the brains to get the right players playing the right way like Dowse has shown he can do on a tiny budget. They can have all the money they get and still spend it on dross as last season shows th...

Re: 1200 signatures smashed... new target set

The sneaky system wouldn’t accept my £25 but did the £100. Touché sneaky system. Glad to do my little bit for the club and also give me something to cherish forever. Brilliant idea and it’s a thank you from me. It wasn’t a sneaky system. It was clearly advertised that there were limited amounts at ...

Re: Latest #getbehindtheshirt numbers - the last lap

So Chesney did the business! As of 8.30 this morning we have just broken the 950 mark and are now on the downhill stretch towards 1000 ! A nice little flurry from the Netherlands in the new names. Should be another video going up later - if what I am told is correct it could be Laurence Batty's big...

Re: Who do we keep?

That may explain Loza’s comment on twitter today if Chelmsford have released players. Their loss our gain? I’d like to think so. If Borehamwood have released Tshimanga I’d have him over here like a rocket. Loza expects certain behaviours from clubs but doesn't abide by them himself. - He jumped shi...

Re: Fans' Player of the Season

Spitfire, so Christ wasnt good enough as you are comparing him with someone who once played for England. I agree that he seemed a bit of a panic buy, and the fact that he came on before Hodges that night seemed a bit strange. With regards to Nathan playing up front at the end of that game, 1) we di...

Re: Fans' Player of the Season

Spitfire, you must be a fantastic judge of a player when you think someone who played 20 mins tops for a team that he only joined the day before isnt good enough Mad isn’t it? I went down the line of players who had been with us for the season and played continually rather than a brief cameo and th...

Who do we keep?

As we are generally well run there could be a possibility we can compete more as I think players wages will reduce in the new "normal"..... Got to challenge that last bit I’m afraid. What are you basing players wages decreasing on? As of the end of May, many of those players will not be earning any...

My top 5 are the same as Jams but not in the same order or reflective below. Ross - most consistent Cook - most improved Diarra - such a gentleman and always motm consideration Poku - all the commitment you’d ever want from a player Hyde - 17 goals not a full season and missed plenty of games. What ...

Re: Larger Shirt Size available

If the size we ordered does not fit, are we able to return and get one that does? I think the sizing chart and advice given on here to ‘size up’ would negate that. Italian large sizing is notoriously different to our large and is a medium at best. In Italian cycling gear I have to double size up bu...

Sorry Cardsontour. Really appreciate you spreading the good word but I stopped half way through as their numbers and facts are so far wrong they bore me and the quotes are ridiculous. Re: Woking fans – support our new stadium regeneration

Of course it’s not true. The club can not be seen to be getting into a tit for tat argument with people that are clearly clutching at straws and lying. The latest lie concerns access to the site being through Loop Road. Why would construction go down a narrow residential road when common sense would...

Like every other thread on here, don’t believe everything you read. There is plenty of support and many people have contacted the council with support via other means.
