Re: Nimbys

KE in still not understanding that if you want to fit retail/conference/entertainment space within your box to make additional revenue then that box will be a certain size regardless of how many sad gits you'll get rattling around inside it watching football. Cut it down to 7,000 capacity* and you l...

Re: Chesterfield away roll call

I was going because I had to be in Liverpool at 8am on Wednesday.
However some useless contractors have fucked up and waited until 10 mins ago to finally tell me.
Not best pleased as the same lot did this to me last year causing me to miss the Wealdstone game.

Re: mATCH THREAD V HARROGATE

Not sure we deserved that, lucky goal, no idea how they didn't score.
But as a member of this parish is oft keen to state this isn't a tea dance so 3 very welcome points towards the 52 or so we need.

Re: Match Thread A vs Dagenham & Redbridge VNL

Daggers have a decent midfield and on the whole I thought their passing and movement was better than ours. What they don't seem to have was someone to put the ball in the net. I rather enjoyed the chaos we caused every time we put a set piece in their box and our defence rarely putting a foot wrong ...

Re: New ground plans

Woking have a parking standards SPD as part of their planning documentation. Number of bedrooms Flat, apartment or maisonette - Minimum parking provision per dwelling 1 bedroom - 0.5 2 bedroom - 1 3 bedroom - 1 4 bedroom - 1.5 In the town centre the council will allow parking provision below these m...

Re: New ground plans

I’ve only seen the design renders of the 3 blocks next to the new Stand and that doesn’t show car park accesses on the vista next to the new main Stand that they propose to pedestrianise on matchdays. Have you actually seen flat plans of the 3 blocks with the access there then skippy? It would make...

Re: New ground plans

No, there are access roads roads between all three blocks and another road (where the current David Lloyd access is) to the final part of the development behind the away end which all lead on to Westfield Avenue. You are indeed correct, there are access roads from Westfield Avenue, sadly none of th...

Re: New ground plans

They'll have 750 car parking spaces under the resi blocks, this is above the local planning requirement. To give them credit they've graded the buildings away from the stadium so the height has less impact on the nearby housing, looks like the drop to 4/5 storeys on the Westfield Avenue side. It's n...

Re: New ground plans

Pretty sure those access roads are off the new development road, there appeared to be two connections on to Westfield Avenue, the main access and the fire access road. The fire access road didn't appear to connect to any of the blocks and connected at the corner of the ground leaving at least 4 bloc...

Re: New ground plans

Except on matchdays when the road is shut and there's 750 car drivers that are trapped in/locked out.
A bit shit on the occasional Tuesday when they can't get home from work, then where do they park?

Re: New ground plans

SS typo there I think, 10,000 capacity not seats, currently the design is split 50/50 seats/standing. The one shown is fractionally less and if more standing is requested it would lower it even more which they would have to discuss with the Council. That bit didn't make sense as usually seating redu...

Re: New ground plans

Well that was an interesting evening. It seems that Wayne (doesn't care about football) Gold may not be having the shares and it will be the Leslie's (if you consider Tottenham to be football) that will be the major shareholders. Stadium looks good, as does the whole development*, still plenty of th...

Re: New ground plans

Why pay to get something done if you can get it done for free?
A professional working pro bono is still a professional.

Anyway the club have previously asked for volunteers and taken details so no doubt they'll be looking to follow up on that.

Re: New ground plans

Since club officials read the board and indeed have posted in this thread it seems the right place to ask in lieu of being able to attend the consultations. Splitting the discussions from housing and stadium I can understand on one level, but you really can't split the two. Requirements for stadium...

Re: New ground plans

The new houses at the end of Westfield Avenue are five floors high, so there's a precedent. Whether approval would be given for a much bigger development at that height is another matter. Only one block is 5 storeys, and that is set in a bit of a dip so the height compared to the road is less than ...

Rather slick but also rather quiet about how many dwellings will be in the new neighbourhood.

There may be a delay because of Trust data protection compliance.

That said if Sicknote had to manually approve my registration he could at least have switched my ads off.......
