Re: Three Rules...

Have you checked who the other directors are on the Goldev Woking Ltd company? They are from Dukelease and have serious financial clout. WG is a facilitator, he gets projects to a point and then others take it on. As Baldman says there is the conflict of interest. There is also the fact that the clu...

Re: Three Rules...

Don't think we'll get any money for Arter, his Bournemouth contract runs out in the summer.

Re: Fans’ Forum on Woking Community Stadium

The broad brief and requirements of the stadium have already been agreed and contractually signed Given the nature of what we want, I hope the broad brief and requirements isn't that broad and is as detailed as possible. I must admit I forgot to ask if the stadium was full fit out or shell and core...

Re: Fans’ Forum on Woking Community Stadium

In short if the developer does not deliver a stadium to meet the agreed requirements he gets no development Unless I misheard last night he gets 50% of the development and can't do the last 50% until after the stadium is handed over, that is a long way from no stadium no development. Will the brief...

Re: Fans’ Forum on Woking Community Stadium

This is the craziest thing I have ever heard. Who is going to look after the club's interests in these negotiations if it is owned by someone who stands to make money from the development?? What possible reason does Gold have for needing to own the club? The answer I got to that question was that o...

Re: Fans’ Forum on Woking Community Stadium

Nico, without the resi we won't get a stadium. That makes getting the resi through planning crucial. Currently, even in it's rather watery form, the resi scheme seems completely inappropriate for its surroundings. As a local resident I know there is always strong opposition to anything over 4 storey...

Re: Fans’ Forum on Woking Community Stadium

Afaia WG has an agreement with PJ to transfer the shares, however as I believe the intention is to leave WG with approx 51% of the shares this needs the agreement of shareholders. From the WFC constitution 9.3 The directors may not register any transfer if a consequence of such transfer would be tha...

Re: Fans’ Forum on Woking Community Stadium

He hasn’t spent £2.5m yet, that was his estimate of total cost to get to a full planning submission for everything.
I think spend to date was £300k.

Re: Fans’ Forum on Woking Community Stadium

Agree that Gold came across fairly well although both were over reliant on the “plans haven’t been finalised, we’ll have the answers next month” line. The guy saying “YOU’VE FAILED US TONIGHT” was a ridiculous remark and rightly ridiculed. Wayne came across pretty well even if he didn't really answ...

Re: Fans’ Forum on Woking Community Stadium

Yeah, I got hacked off with his 'if you're against the housing you're against the stadium' comments. Old Woking is not a high rise part of town, there are only a couple of building's over 4 storeys, the vast majority are 2 storey and he couldn't seem to understand how much locals are going to object...

Alan Morton on the right of Hodges.
Scored in my very first Woking game.

Just got back

Wish I hadn't gone.

This is not good form to be taking into the play offs.

Gifted an average side an easy goal then done easily from a corner after being hit on the break. Enough possession but very few clear cut chances.

And it's a shit place to go.

Meh/10

Many of us politely clapped when Bath lifted the play off trophy.

Some of those people looked so happy you'd think it was their own team that won.

Re: Torquay vs Chelmsford

I discount loan players, the chances of getting Little, Edser, etc next year are minimal unless they get sacked off by their parent clubs and can't find a slot in a L2 team. Cook, Casey, Jolley & Hodges would be my four. Kane and Max are good NS players but a bit out of their depth in the NL. Not co...

Re: Torquay vs Chelmsford

I think there are 4 that are worth a crack in the division above, but one of them, Casey, I doubt would go to the national league. Will the extra month allow Dowse to get a team together that he won't spend the whole season chopping about? Like VK, I remain to be convinced. Without a decent input of...

Re: Context

How many decent games of football have we seen? Maybe 4 or 5, the rest have been functional mediocrity with the odd truly lacklustre performance. Can't knock the results as invariably I've walked away happy, just can't say I've often walked away feeling entertained though. Fantastic profits brought ...

Are many more signings do we need. We must be breaking records as it is.
Meh we've only used 37 in the league, that's not even one per game.
I think the record is something like 41 in the Chapple/Cockerill season.

There may be a delay because of Trust data protection compliance.

That said if Sicknote had to manually approve my registration he could at least have switched my ads off.......
