Re: Jack Cook signs on for 2019/20

All our centre backs have an eye for 5 - 10 goals per season ( particularly diarra) and we already have tarpey ... One of the most prolific lower league strikers in recent years and who barnet wanted to keep. A back up to tarpey and a big partner would be good... Plus that little bit extra last yea...

Re: Jack Cook signs on for 2019/20

Once Diarra is (presumably) on board again, I would hope that's it for re-signing players from last season's squad. We're going to have to be a lot better to survive in the National League than we were last season, when we somehow contrived to lose a quarter of our games despite the pitiful overall...

Re: Current First Team

looks like we're what 6 or so first 11 short and 12 short overall? How likely is it that anyone coming in as a trialist would be a shoe in for starting place.

Re: Manny Parry signs

A dedicated RB really should be a must. Really don't want to see another season with Cook at RB and Collier with his thumb stuck up on his arse not even making the bench. For one half of the best center half pairings in the league ( I know it was 2 seasons ago now) RB seems absurd.

I know he lives just outside Norwich so another Essex club doesn't surprise me, I think we can sign better wingers then him.
Out of interest - who in your opinion is a better option than Loza? Unknown loans aside.

Weight never hurt McNulty or Parkin... and I'd take either or both of those fat bastards without hesitation. Get your best game head on Ben and show us what you can do at National level.

Loza

I don't think you can entirely blame Loza for wanting the permanent move to Billericay. He wasn't our player, and the deal was probably done by the clubs. He may or may not have had much say in it - but after agreeing personal terms thought why the hell not. At that point we quite possibly were not ...

Hey Jack - you around? How about knocking up a temporary structure for Westfield - we know you love this kind of stuff.

My vote is Westfield. Temporary stands... no further to travel for home or away. They always support us with friendlies to get players game time etc. they are our non competing neighbors and would appreciate the cash. #keepitinwoking

Re: Womens football.

Love the women's football... It's huge in the States and Scandinavia and growing elsewhere. Why is that an issue? Their attitude as well seems so much more like the spirit of football than the Premier League primadonnas. There is a case regarding 3 set women's games however. Either it's equality or...

Re: Womens football.

I watched the USA / Thailand game and the difference in abilities was clear to see. The Thai goal keeper was desperately exposed. Woman's 'soccer' here in the US is a big deal, the skill levels are improving every day. Will they ever be a fast / strong as professional men - No Is it bad football - N...

Re: Dowse Catchup / Collier

Happy for Nathan. Not sure what was really going on at the back end of the year when Cook was preferred at RB. Not in the same category as Spence, but if you're fit and a CH gets put in ahead of you in, in what is your preferred position ????? i'd possibly be counting myself lucky to get a call.

Well said Kansas, what do the Police do with those poxy cameras they wave around? Seriously? They film for any evidence of criminal wrongdoing, and if there is any, wait until there aren’t 1,000-strong mobs hanging around, then smash down doors in dawn raids. ...and innocently watch people throw th...

If the police actually arrested the twats who deliberately damage shit and fine them accordingly maybe they'd stop. Until they perform the jobs they are paid for - stewards included, these drum carrying, flag waving bellends will continue to think it acceptable to criminally damage other peoples pro...

Re: Sam Howes signs for Woking

Welcome... Is Sam going to be our starter? Seemed to be an indication from Dowse, reiterated by Sam here, that we're aiming to have 'two number ones'. I know that's a bit of a cliche... But perhaps if we had a long-time, experienced Woking fan who'd played at a high level, that would compliment him...

Update the menu lists of Conference South and Conference National sides before the AGM cup saves them from over the border.
Just want to see them listed below us for once - as they rightly deserve to be. However temporary it proves :-)

Maybe also add them in in BLOCK CAPITALS too
