Re: When are the fixtures out?

Stoo I hope you are right. If you are right (or what you have been told is right) then it wouldn't surprise me if Eastleigh get Aldershot.

Re: Martin Tyler

I go back to what I said, we have numerous options in defence, but none up front. talking of the U21s squad, Wan-Bissaka is seen by many as a huge prospect, but cant see him breaking into the Full squad due to the options we have at FB. The 2 options in midfield would be Foden, who needs more game t...

Re: Martin Tyler

R&WA it amazes me that you have put Alexander-Arnold in ahead of Walker, and Chilwell (or Shaw) ahead of Rose. I would also suggest that Gomez would get into the defence, as he is better than both CBs The beauty we have in defence and wide players is that we have a number of choices, what we don't h...

Re: Next Season Expectation.

simple - staying up. That, imo, would be as good an achievement as going up last year GlenH mentioned 3 clubs earlier in this thread, Orient, Solihull and Salford. his words 'Orient come top after finishing in mid-table, Solihull come 2nd after a relegation battle, Salford come 3rd after promotion. ...

New rules

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/football/7-new-rule-changes-are-coming-to-the-premier-league-–-but-are-they-good-or-bad/ar-AABMZkT?ocid=spartanntp Just seen this, and whilst it suggests that these are new rules for the PL, I assume that these will also be in force in all leagues where possible quest...

Re: Transfer Update

I agree there are a number of giants playing at CH in the NL, but the problem is that there are also a number of pacy strikers, which as you have pointed out above Ben was exposed to at the Torquay home game. Whilst I am pleased with the current signings, I also think that there is a long way to go ...

Re: Transfer Update

Not surprised on the Jolley news either. I am sure Dowse said towards the end of the season that he probably wouldn't play again, but the fact that he is staying on in some capacity is good news

Re: Transfer Update

WFC96 - I haven't listened to the update so don't now if Gerring being an almost certainty is what Dowse has said or if you think that. If Dowse didn't say it, I am not sure he would be a certainty to sign

Re: Club Shop - Online version

I have always thought that the bar is too small, and that it would be a good idea if the serving area was along the side wall (opposite the windows). a bigger serving area would mean more staff would be needed, but would also mean quicker service. The bar service area would only need to come out int...

Re: 1997 Fantasy Chairman (where did it all go wrong)

Jon

what a great idea.

so that's 3 ideas in the last 2 days that would make the club money
1. Buy a property in the new flats
2. sort the shop out, and get it online
3. get a bottle bar

Re: Away followings

I saw in the NLP this week that Notts County are due in court on a winding up order in June. as much as it would be good to be above Aldershot, I have a feeling we will be playing them in the league next season, which is fine, as if they think their new manager isn't cut out to manage in NLS, he may...
