Re: Keep or cull?

It seems to me that the first decision has to be on the manager as I suspect that he may have come in on a contract just for the season gone. It was stated in the press release when he joined that he'd signed a contract until the end of the 2024-25 season. I'm sure the club wouldn't have lied to us.

Re: Luke Garrard's final interview at BW

Boreham Wood's season just shows how tough this division is. Clearly a very healthy budget, strong experienced squad, very good and popular manager, and they still went down.

Would like us to get Ashmore from Boring Wood and maybe welcome Carter back from the Dorks. Also a forward that can score would be nice.
Dorking paid £50k for Carter. Can't imagine we'd be willing to match that even if they did decide to sell him.

Re: Staying up or going down?

Some of us are still scarred by the end of the 1984-85 season and a final day that looks ominously similar to this one. After a terrible start to the season under the unfortunate Bill Dodgin, we'd picked up under Geoff and were in reasonably good form. We just needed a point from the final game to b...

Wealdstone have just fired their Manager. https://x.com/wealdstonefc/status/1776989804288254341?s=46&t=vrAUFtvwzjy9BK7_LP5FIg I think their fans feared the worst when he arrived a couple of months ago and opened his first press conference by saying that he didn't really know anything about this div...

Re: Ex-Player update: May 2022

Dorking Wanderers announce Charlie Carter will make his debut for them tomorrow……. Anyone know what was going on there? They paid a fee for him. For a youngish player with a decent CV to drop from Eastleigh (big budget) to part time Dorking seems an odd one - unless he's got a non-football job that...

£10,000 signing on fee, blimey. Have you a link to anything confirming that? Pretty sure it's true. Jake Hyde to Yeovil
Yeovil spent quite a lot of last season without a qualified physio. With Rhys Murphy and Hyde both having signed, they'll certainly need one next season.
