Also is Gerring now suspended immediately (or is there a time period to allow an appeal?)
Having just seen it on the BT highlights show, there's absolutely no way we can appeal against that sending off!

Presumably two or three games for violent conduct.

Re: Jake Gray joins Hampton & Richmond Borough

Maybe moving him out for a month is in order to move someone else in for a month. Presumably a number nine to play at Bromley with Hyde and Tarpey not able to play on those pitches If nobody else comes in before Tuesday, I suspect Loza will play down the middle at Bromley rather than out wide. He l...

With the notable exception of Sir Clive Youlton, the GetSurrey online output is utter sensationalised clickbait shite, they seem to just copy crap off of Twitter. They had a "news story" on there the other day about a bloke taking a piss during gridlocked traffic on the M25, unfortunately the Wokin...

Re: Reflection vs Ebbsfleet United

Just a teensy-weensy bit of a carp over Dowse's Friday catch-up. These injuries he spoke of and 'other things' that were shunting him towards a difficult team selection, his words, not mine, have to be a bit of kidology, no? I have no gripes if he thinks Hill was watching, but it was that bit when ...

Forget possession, neat triangles and pressure, we won't win unless we score more than the opposition. No reason to forget possession, neat triangles and pressure, it was those elements that enabled us to create so many clear-cut chances. Unfortunately we were very wasteful in front of goal (Hyde a...

And it's been announced that former Card Jefferson Louis has signed for his 38th club, Hampton and Richmond Borough at the age of 109.
Blimey, how many more of our old players are they going to nick? They should rename themselves Hampton & Woking FC.

He won't be offered it, so we'll never know. As, indeed, nobody can ever really know the answer to a clearly hypothetical question.

I guess with Hampton he had taken them as far as they can go. Even if they won promotion, would they have realistically survived in this league?
Traditionally I don't think there's much difference in the stature of Hampton and a club like Maidenhead.

Generally speaking, non-league managers with no high-profile past as players don't get offered league jobs - particularly not after managing for just one month at National League level! Much as I like Hodges, I don't see who we're supposed to leave out to give him a place in the starting line-up.

On top of that, we also have Kretzschmar, Donnellan and Jake Gray not in the sixteen at the moment.

What would be the point of adding another player who wouldn't get into the match-day squad? Fair enough, but the 'point' might be that he gives us a different option, or might be required if the squad is reduced by injuries or suspensions. I suspect it is moot anyway as he is presumably going to lo...

Why? We're already struggling to fit all three of Gerring, Parry and Diarra into the starting line-up. What would be the point of adding another player who wouldn't get into the match-day squad?
