Re: 5 home losses this season

Why do we always seem to play badly (not just losing but losing boringly)when we get a big attendance in? It’s like we don’t want floating fans to come back!! Our players are used to playing in front of big crowds at home, so a few hundred extra isn't really going to galvanise them. Unfortunately t...

Re: Harvey Bradbury & Yellow Cards

What's "utterly baffling" is the risible suggestion that there's been any kind of anti-Dowse agenda on here at all this season, let alone "since day one".

Re: Torquay v. Chelmsford ....

Just a shame that Dartford will have such a weak team out at Torquay today. Apart from injuries, they also have their experienced central midfield - Bradbrook and that scummy No. 8 Lee Noble - out through suspension.

Lots of other long-standing debts in addition to that £7000, apparently, none of which could be paid.

Having looked at the fixtures, I personally don't think Torquay will drop many (if any) points from their remaining games
Did you think they'd lose at home a week or two ago to Weston-Super-Mare?

Re: Team for Tuesday

I think we'll play one up front (Luer) and find room for Hodges, possibly in place of Kretzschmar (will he be risked on a fake pitch?) - although I'd like to see Allassani contributing a lot more to games than he is at present.

I wonder what Rendell will do when his contract offer is halved?
Probably start nobbing one of their barmaids.
He'll be their next manager, so that might be one of the perks of the job.

Re: If we don’t get promoted...

The referee didn't seem remotely interested in the game, and as you say, it was mainly the linesmen making decisions on fouls. There was also one point in the second half when both the referee and the linesman signalled (incorrectly) that it was our throw-in, but a Chippenham player walked over and ...

Re: Our strikers

Now, focussing on our side, we do seem to have maybe too many options up front...4 strikers is a lot. It's been proven that none of our strikers are good on the wing, so either needs to play a proper 2 up front and 2 wingers, or 1 on his own with 2 wingers and Max behind when fit maybe. We're too w...

This guy obviously heard the same interview but misheard "I couldn't see them scoring" as "I couldn't see us scoring", a pretty basic error that completely changes the tone of the article:

Re: Toby Edser

Edser is 19 years old, captain of Forest's Under 23 team and is clearly highly regarded at his club. They sent him on loan to us to get experience of men's football, he did brilliantly for us, and now they're keen to see how he gets on at League Two level. Surely not a difficult concept to grasp? Re: Toby Edser

He’s still at Forest Jon, just on loan at Vale Have Forest allowed him to go there to offset more of his wages? If he plays for us then they are more likely to get a transfer fee or a good player.
